G-EAZY IN CONCERT:
One of the hottest up-and-comers in the hip hop game, G-Eazy makes sure his packed live shows are wild nights that fans will love bragging about to their friends. The minute he steps on stage, the hip hop heartthrob radiates an effortlessly cool vibe and a refreshing sense of humility. His confidence, talent, and hit-filled catalog -- which has earned him comparisons to French Montana and T. Mills -- instantly captivate ticket buyers' hearts and ears. Slower songs like "Plastic Dreams" get kicked up a notch in concert, and G-Eazy and his backing band -- which typically includes a guitarist/programmer and a drummer -- always make sure the crowd is thoroughly amped. As he tears into a diverse setlist that includes party starters like "Loaded" and "Lotta That", G-Eazy never fails to take audiences along for a truly thrilling ride.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Rapper, singer, and producer G-Eazy, a.k.a. Gerald Earl Gillum, was born and raised in Oakland, CA. While studying music and business at Loyola University in New Orleans, he started producing singles and sharing them on his Myspace page, racking up hundreds of thousands of plays on early songs like "Candy Girl" and "Waspy". In 2007 he released his first mixtape, Sikkis On The Planet, which he promoted DIY-style by designing his own album art and selling tapes out of his backpack. Two years and dozens of Myspace songs later, he was nominated for an MTVU Award for Best Music on Campus and won the NAACP Best Music on Campus Woodie award. After earning a degree in Music Industry Studies in 2011, he scored an opening slot on Drake's tour and joined rapper Shwayze on a nationwide tour. He also released the mixtape Endless Summer, which included one of his biggest hits, an updated version of the 1961 No. 1 hit "Runaround Sue" by Dio Dimucci. He continued to make waves on the live circuit in 2012-13 with a co-headlining tour alongside Hoodie Allen, a string of dates on Warped Tour, and an opening slot on 2Chainz and Lil Wayne's America's Most Wanted tour. 2014 was G-Eazy's most eventful year to date: he signed a major label deal with RCA Records and released his debut album These Things Happened, which topped Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop and Top Rap Albums Charts. Dubbed by MTV as one of their "artists to watch", G-Eazy hit the road at the end of 2014 with a North American tour, bringing his energetic performances to hoards of party-hungry fans.
This was my daughter's first concert and all of the entertainers were amazing and the lighting/stage was perfect
This was an amazing event and I was so satisfied with all the artists that performed
G-Eazy is the only artist around anymore, that sounds exactly the same in his music as he does in his concerts! He is amazing! He's so hype and interacts with the crowd!! Just saw him for the endless summer tour in Pittsburgh, my hometown! We drove to see him in Atlantic City in March of this year and that was absolutely awesome!!! Beautiful venue, amazing show! I will travel again to see him for sure!! Definitely my favorite rapper!!
Nice place but super hot in the summer for outside concert
Second time seeing GEazy in concert but nothing like this. Both unforgettable but this one was for the books!!!!
Pros and cons about venue ... I got VIP to meet G, only bad part was getting dressed all cute and standing in the direct sun for 2 hours, so for the money we spent it would have been nice to have a shaded area to wait. G was so sweet and a gentleman, I was nervous and forgot all of the things I wanted to say of course, but I really enjoyed meeting him. After I met G I planned on sitting in the car with my friend who had been waiting in the car because she had a regular ticket and they wouldn’t let me out and said I wouldn’t be able to get back in. So that sucked!! Other than that it was a good experience and can’t wait to see Gerald again
I loved Lil Uzi Vert but G Eazy was absolutely GARBAGE. He needs more auto tune in his mic because he doesn't sound like his music.
They kept saying Miami when we aren’t it’s West Palm Beach! Other than that it was good...
Bought tickets for my boyfriends birthday and upgraded from lawn and added two of our other friends. One of the best concerts I’ve been to in awhile—G eazy killed it, and lil Uzi was awesome.
The whole show was perfectly executed and everyone did a great job performing. Venue was one of the best I’ve been to for a concert. Would definitely go there again.
This venue seemed promising, but the aritsits were lackluster. He most annoying part of the concert outside of the flat/vulgar performers was the constant chant about being in Miami, when we were in West Palm Beach. They should be embarrassed to not have the ability to properly acknowledge the city that put forth the effort to support their venue and not one of them got it right.
G-EAZY had a great performance, best concert I’ve been to
Great concert... Good times.. Coral sky amp you theater is a super place to sit back relax and enjoy your favorite concerts
The setup and organization of this concert was really good and it wasn’t that bunched up either. Also the effects and the volume of concert too was really good
Eazy had a solid set. As did Ty Dolla. Uzi Vert was outstanding. Murda Beats was a cool host.
He was much better at SunFest we didn’t enjoy the show
The performance was ok but there were waaaayyyy too many kids running around. Seemed like the ages between 12-16 and just all over the place. I LOVE G-Eazy, but due to the type of crowd, I may never see him again...
Overall, great performer. Although, he kept calling us (west palm beach) Miami. it was a little weird considering he doesn't even know where he is. Was he high? maybe. probably. I think uzi was sooooo fye tho! he brought his best to the stage and it was so much more fun when uzi came on.
The event was not that bad. The opening artist had the crowd going, then Ty Dolla Sign came on and did a few of his hits. He really played to the audience. Then Lil Uzi Vert had a good set. Everyone was really into it, singing every word to every song. After his set they had a very long break to switch the set out but it was one of the longest interim's i've seen at a concert. We waited for about 40 minutes and decided to just leave. The crowd was pretty good but very young (about 21 and under) but overall not a bad show just wished the G-Eazy didnt take so long to start.
G Eazy wasn’t perfection, he come in & took over! Would go back every time he’s in town!
