What struck me about this performance is how present feist was throughout the whole night. There were a few technical screw ups and she wasn't phased, totally rolled with it and managed to keep her composure and have so much grace. There was a marked generosity of spirit not only from her but the crowd around her too. So much love in the audience. Her Singing and playing are always remarkable, moving. I saw Ron Sexsmith there last week and it struck me as I watched Feist the incredible talent that we have in Canada and specifically these two Toronto artists. Their songwriting is original and so effective. So inspiring! I saw the concert with my daughter and we both wept on many occasions from the beauty of the music combined with her lyrics and also her openness. But also the incredible artistry of the whole production. It had a narrative Arc that was so satisfying and surprising and delightful. It was like a concert and an art piece in one. The creativity was mind blowing and I can't imagine where she will go from there ..
A wonderfully poetic show that made us all feel a lot. I love Feist, she's a unique artist. With love, Roro
Feist is a class act who wears her heart on her sleeve and delivers a fully realized performance. The intimate raised circle stage with the video livestream for the first half of the show was genius and then the second half of big sound/light on stage with her band was very dynamic allowing Feist to showcase both sides of her performance style. She is generous with her audience and knows how to connect with them. Always gives it 100% and sounds incredible doing so. The guitar solo up above behind her head was just the cherry on top. Thanks Feist for a memorable show as always.
As usual, Feist was incredible. She really seems to be leaning into her creativity, and the show reflected that. One of the best shows I have ever been to.
I traveled all the way from mexico because didn't wanted to go to the corona capital to see her, that festival has become the worst cash grab, unsecured and low quality music festival in mexico. At the end it was completely worth it to travel and watch a Solo Feist concert. (If im able to say it was cheaper to travel than buying a corona capital ticket.)
First off, I never realized what a huge difference $10 would make on a ticket price. I had the best seats in the house. Center Balcony with booth seating and table service all evening. Feist's show was incredible. It felt like I was witnessing something truly magical. I laughed, I cried, I screamed (the lyrics). She is truly a once in a generation artist. We are all so lucky to be here at the same time. Amazing show.
Raw, Spontaneous, Surprising, Surreal, Funny and Beautiful... all at once.
Feist is a stellar performer. Loved the avant garde feel of the lighting, video projection, and storytelling aspect of the show. However, it was so difficult hearing her speaking voice. Lost a lot of the magic when she spoke. Was a bummer to say the least. Any way to sound check that? Thanks for an amazing night.
I cannot begin to tell you how creative and absolutely amazing this concert was; Feist is the real deal and threads her songs through a musical story she tells with wit, humour and raw feeling. Five stars are not enough!
