Sting is a 17-time Grammy-winning artist and a founding member of the pioneering new wave band The Police. Born in Wallsend, England, Gordon Sumner, a.k.a. Sting, became one of the best-selling artists of all-time as the bassist and frontman of The Police. The band released five studio albums and six Top 10 singles, including the Sting-penned No. 1 hit “Every Breath You Take,” before disbanding in 1986. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, and their 2008 reunion tour was the third highest-grossing tour of the ’00s. Since releasing his 1985 solo debut The Dream of the Blue Turtles, Sting has been recognized with a British CBE and an Emmy, featured at the Kennedy Center Honors and inducted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He has also received four Oscar nominations, and his 2014 Broadway musical The Last Ship, which was inspired by his childhood and featured music and lyrics by Sting, was nominated for two Tony Awards. A constant experimenter of genres including jazz, pop, classical and world music, Sting won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 2019 with Shaggy for their 2018 collaborative album 44/876.

Sting 2024 Tour Dates:
Sting heads out on his 2024 North American tour in September. After kicking off at the Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan, the tour will hit select North American cities through November 2024.

Sting 3.0 is a fantastic tour! Fans in Toronto are so lucky we got 5 nights with Sting at Massey Hall! Sting has still got it ?? And Dominic Miller (guitar) and Chris Maas (drums) are absolutely fantastic ??
Sting, his opener (really enjoyed him but I cannot remember his name), Massey Hall all were above and beyond! Great venue, Amazing Artists!!!

Sting was in great voice. The drummer and guitarist were excellent. The light show kept things feeling like a big event. Tons of familiar songs. I get why Sting and the band wanted to play some less familiar songs, but stringing 4 or 5 of them together sucked some of the energy out of the room. Sting told some good stories and made everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Opening act ELEW (Eric Lewis) played an energetic blend of classical / jazz / big band / rock on the grand piano. Massey Hall is a nice venue.
Venue was perfect….size, seating and sound. Sting was once again at his best! His band mates showed off their amazing talents! The time flew by….and I went home with a sore throat from singing each song and sore hands from endlessly clapping like everyone else at the concert.

Sting still rocks! I like that he played most of his songs from his "The Police"time. Completely reminiscing during the concert. 80s is the best music ever!! I hope he'll perform again. I cannot complain about the venue, just perfect location. Close to the TTC and lots of restaurants to grab food before the event. However, one comment is that maybe next time open early and let patrons buy merchandize already instead of waiting till the end of the concert when people are rushing to go home already.
An amazing concert in a historic location! One of the most interactive concerts I have ever attended where the crowd and performers fed off each other which made this an incredible experience.
