They performed for about 45 minutes and only did excerpts from their hits. I was extremely disappointed and felt they should have performed a full concert. I WILL NOT pay to see them, or any event, again at Club XL.
This concert took me from 1985 as a 5th grader to 1988-89 as a 9th grader. It was so much fun and Big Daddy Kane shook my hand, think I could have gotten a hug but my old man was in between us...lol We had a blast so happy to see them all living and well!
Very lackluster, low energy, not quite what I expected. Venue was nice, drinks were alright, and price was right.
Great show! Proving once again that real Hip-Hop is NOT on the radio. Redman came out and did his thing.
The Hit Squad did their thing! I'd see them, again!
Straight 90s hip hop I was so happy i decided to go. I cant stand rap today and all I listen to is 90s. Im A big Das Efx fan and was so grateful i got to see them. Redman and Keith Murray went wild. EPMD tore the house down banging heads. I would relive this night million times if i could but i cant so ill cherish the one night just as much more.
The show was awesome I was able to relive my college years with Redman and Keith Murray, my Jr High and high school with EPMD and Das Efx, me and my cuz'ns had a great time. The also had a nice line up of historic DJ's like Chuck Chill Out and Kool DJ Red Alert they kept everyone moving the energy flowing! Can't wait until they have another one.
This was my first time seeing EPMD in a Live Concert and it was outstanding. They performed with alot of energy and they kept Howard Theatre crowd rocking the whole night. Also, DJ SCRATCH lived up to his reputation of keeping the crowd on our feet with the music he plays and his overall DJ performance. I see why they are still performing after 25 years. Thanks for an amazing show fellas!!!! ROCK ON.
It was great! It felt like the Hit Squad Tour back in 1992. It was so hype, the only thing that was missing was Redman, K-Solo, & Das EFX. The drinks were overpriced though... $12 for a drink and $8 for a beer... Ridiculous... Smh
