Encanto Tickets

I was excited to see this with my granddaughter who loves Encanto. I paid $150 for each ticket so we could have front row seat. I was expecting characters or actors to be walking around signing ala Disney production. I could have stayed home and put on the movie with subtitles and we could have sang along as we normally do. Very disappointed in Disney and the Broward Performance Arts theatre for allowing this production to go on. The orquestra was most of the time not playing anything and just sitting there. I think a 1 is to much but I don't have an option for 0.

We thought this Encanto sing along was going to be like the one at the Hollywood Bowl, something more theatrical. We literally could have just stayed home and watched the sing along film and not waits our time an money on this Encanto.

I was 270 x 3 people. Then, tickets were being sold at 25/person days before the event. The event: - My own daughter told she want to leave. She was completely disengage from the show. - The show was not a show. It’s just watching the movie in a big screen. - The orchestra is not an orchestra. It’s just band trying to look like if they were playing the songs when actually they are doubling (shadowing) the songs from the movie on the screen. -The band were just playing the part, but they were really low energy and really provided a better experience; it didn’t matter at all. - My daughter and myself are really dissatisfied with this show and was a completely was of time and money to us. - I will recommend Disney to drop their name from this act, this doesn’t look like a Disney show at all.

I found this show to be a big disappointment. I was expecting an orchestra from flutes and violins to Dolores’s piccolo and a maestro. Instead it was just a handful of musicians with nothing more than some bongo drums, 1 accordion and a guitar. The show started at 7:30 instead of 7. Half my party left after 45min because their Disney Princess loving child was so bored. The rest of us stayed an hour longer but it was so late at night my 4-yr old was falling asleep. We all LOVE watching this movie at home but paying money for this “show” was beyond disappointing.

Big disappointment. Performers did not get the audience engaged. Not worth the money or time.

I ordered these tickets because I’ve been battling with an illness and I love Encanto. I was definitely looking forward to it. I had watched the Encanto on Disney+, and thought that was the concert I was going to. This was just a sing-along with a no name band. I was very disappointing and left before the halfway mark. I am very disappointed. I didn’t like it at all.

First of all, this shouldn't be even shown in any theater as a show or musical, etc. This is the movie with some guys there trying to show you they are playing music sometimes. The person who was conducting the animation wasn't good and the band wasn't even playing music. Also, what is the point of going and paying a lot more to see the same movie again? Nothing special here. I see it at home and enjoy it way better than this. Even my 6-year-old son wanted to leave and he was bored. On top of that, the place smelled old and moldy and the sound was bad.

It was very mis-leading and disappointing. I took three 8 year old girls and we left early. I had assumed it would be real actors acting and signing the songs - instead they just played the movie and had an orchestra play live music to the songs. Like one of the girls said, "I can do this at home."

Great venue, the band is fantastic. My 3 girls had a blast singing and dancing along. Would absolutely go again
