Dale Watson was absolutely fantastic. I don't have the words to do him justice. Just check him out online and you'll see what I mean. Forget about what songs he played or didn't play. They are all good. After the show he made himself available to meet with everyone who wanted to say hello. My favorite moment was actually getting to say hello in person after the show and thank him for carrying on the traditions of true country music. IMO he's right up there with the best EVER in country music!
Elizabeth Cook is one of my husband's favorite music artists, so we drove 6 hours to see her in Jacksonville (Ponte Vedra Beach is just south of Jacksonville), Florida. Dale played a much longer set than Elizabeth did. Concert started at 8 and ended at 10 with a 20 minute intermission between bands. So less than 2 hours for a 12 hour roundtrip. The venue was great - intimate and comfortable.
great show. music was good and lots of good stories
The Duck Room at Blueberry Hill is the perfect place to see Elizabeth put on a wonderful concert - very intimate and cozy. It looked like everyone loved it !
Elizabeth Cook is a talented song writer and singer. As an added bonus she's funny on stage which makes for an all around entertaining show.
I've been listening to her on XM radio for years and own her CDs. First time live was very memorable. Great venue and very intimate. Got to meet Elizabeth and Tim in person and she politely allowed photos. Genuine entertainer with incredible stage presence. Can't wait to see her again.
We are beautiful outlaw people. Elizabeth rocks!!!! Hubby Tim was a great added benefit!
Elizabeth was everything I had hoped for and then some. Tim Carroll has developed a very unique style on guitar and is the perfect fit for E.C. Bones on bass was amazing as well. GREAT SHOW!
Great night at the Birchmere for Elizabeth Cook fans who were treated to Elizabeth's dad, Tom Cook, taking the stage. Always love seeing/hearing Tim Carroll play his guitar and he was red hot on his Gretsch. EC was terrific...as usual.
