Food was reasonably priced and a decent amount of variety of items. It really is a beautiful ballpark. I don't understand why they do not use their visual screen to show highlights of great plays - they only use it to show fans dancing and fan interaction events. Plenty of parking in the nearby area for $10.
Great fun visiting with so many great fur babies and their humans. The dogs ate the absolute best part of the ballgame experience. Plus it was a beautiful night to be out at a ballgame. But the dogs are simply the best part of the outing.
I’ve been to a couple of Durham Bull ball games this season. The first one I really enjoyed. The game was only about half sold out. The crowd was diverse, lots of families, A lot of laughing and cheering and just an all-around good feel to it. It even rained a little bit and it was a bit hot. There were some people, my age, around 70, not a lot. The other game was about 4/5 sold out, people could bring their dogs, which was cool but not a lot of diversity in the crowd, not much at all. General conversations around me were not as interesting as the previous crowd. The weather was nice enough. Again, not a whole lot of people, my age. It wasn’t as much fun as the previous game, I left early. I have no idea why the first game I went to had such a great mix of people and the game where the dogs were allowed about 99% white. I’m new to the south, still feeling how things work around these here parts.
Downtown Durham is the star. Doing anything there is always good. The ballpark is great. Well run, good team, good sight lines. Food is about what you would expect.
We miss the days when they had the roaming vendors selling peanuts, popcorn, beers, etc. It is taking away from the ballpark experience by not having them anymore.
Nice ballpark, awesome fireworks. Basic price is good (except for one thing). Most of the food is pretty decent. Well, the pretzels are not very good. I've tried them twice. Terrible once, almost okay the second time. But the Pie Pushers pizza is excellent. Price. Buying on ticketmaster I am forced to buy a "loaded"ticket with included $5 voucher towards food/drink at the park. I hate the vouchers. They don't always work (as the guest services people confirm), and I have to waste time going to guest services and getting a paper voucher. Even if they do work, it's an annoyance; I have to get the voucher scanned, then pay the remaining balance (everything is going to be more than $5) with a credit card. The loaded tickets waste my time at checkout, increase the time in line (many other people have to scan voucher and credit card), and is simply a way to gouge the consumer (maybe I won't go to the game and I'll forfeit the $5 voucher). And of course, with the voucher I am forced to buy food/drink even if not hungry, since otherwise I lose the $5. Very very customer unfriendly. Rated 3. I'd rate 4 or 5 except for the load ticket problem.
Great ball park, helpful friendly staff. Good food. Relatively easy to find parking.

I don't think there is a bad seat in the house, and the vendors are just what you'd expect from a baseball venue. There is plenty to keep the kids busy between innings and it's always a great time!
