The show was so fun! An iconic movie with a great crowd
Would recommend this show for anyone who shares the love of the movie "dirty dancing". We had a wonderful time. The band did great and we enjoyed the movie as well as always! The band had high energy and it was fun. And the "dance party"after was fun as well This was a different experience than the norm and I loved it.
Overall odd experience, kind of felt like this event description was misleading. The band did well, movie sound distorted, singers were meh. The one dressed as Johnny was great. The venue also didn’t take into account the speakers covering the screen for my seating area, so I had to be redistributed to a different seat. I’d rather watch at home and not listen to the weird encouraged cheers, and audience sing along. The only live “dancing” was in the encore.
We loved the opportunity to experience the combination of the movie and the live music. The vocals and the other musicians did a fine job, and we loved the invitation to sing along with the songs we love! Please do this again and we'll bring guests!
It was scenes on movie screen with a band singing a few songs. Wouldn’t go again
We thought we were going to a musical dance and it was an overpriced movie!! Unbelievable
As always the Dirty Dancy movie is my all time favorite. So watching it in a theater on a big screen with live music was fantastic! It was very loud though. The dance party after party was so much fun. The ticket prices are a bit much though to watch a movie and hear music. I do recommend to any Dirty Dancing fan!
The movie I knew was wonderful as always. The live band and singers y wonderful. I felt like it was misleading since the advertising showed live dancers.
The show was great and the band and singers were great
Didn’t know what to expect but it’s one of our all time favorite cinema productions. Amazing what can be done with good actors and a decent script. We were not disappointed. A fun interactive evening. Renewing our relationship with a beloved movie accompanied by an amazing orchestra and singers. This was a great night out!
Wonderful show. We did think there would be actual dancing, but that did not matter because the show was awesome. the musical accompaniment that went along with the movie was spot on. Be sure to stay after the end of the movie for the group to replay most of the songs. During this, people were dancing in the aisles and it was fun
I had just bought the movie for $2.99 the night before to watch for the first time…. Then I came here the next day just to go to a movie theater with a couple instruments added. Extremely overpriced and boring. Left half way during the break. Save your $ and rent movie at home!
Not realizing was going to watch the movie with some singers and musicians . Disappointing. For what I paid, could have gone to a dinner and a real play. Not watch a movie I have at home.
We went not knowing what to expect. We had so much fun watching the movie and interacting with the crowd around us! It was a really great time!
Live music selection was perfect. The talented artists were all great!!! The interactive audience responsive to certain movie scenes made the movie 10 times more fun.
It was a nice concert except for the cost. It was too expensive to watch a movie and have a band play a couple of songs. The theater is nice. Disappointed in the cost!
I’m one of the biggest Dirty Dancing fans around. I’ve been to Kellermans twice and helped plan the DD experience. I know the Movie forward and backward and have seen the Broadway show twice. I loved the Broadway show and thought DD in Concert would be something similar. If I’d known it was just watching the movie with a live band, I definitely wouldn’t have spent so much money getting tickets. The ticket price is the main reason I was so disappointed. It was a great band with great singers!
After reading the reviews I wasn’t really looking forward to going. But we had so much fun!!! I just loved it!!
The concept to perform live along side the movie was fantastic. Unfortunately, the concept failed because there was no other thought out into this. I felt bad for the band and singers. They were great, unrecognized. They were given a dim light when they performed. They should have been the bight light and the movie a background-maybe snips of the movie to play with the sings that were performed. Maybe some real stage presents, acting to go along with the performance. Essentially I overpaid to see a movie I have seen 15 times. I wish I could say there was a reason for it.
Paid too much for watching a movie with a band. Paid $148.00 for something worth maybe $10. Was expecting a play. Spoke to other in audience and also was upset because of distance we travel.
