Been following Delvon Lamarr Trio forna few years now. They never disappoint. Though we missed Jimmy James and David Weiss, the new additions. Miles Harris on guitar and Ehssan Karimi on drums are awesome! Very tight instrumentals!
Always love going to see these guys! Such a chill vibe and super enjoyable!
Great energy. The band looked like the enjoyed what they were doing every minute. Hope they come back soon.
I had not been to a live show since early in the pandemic and was kind of so/so on going out again. Seeing the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio perform made me want to see more live music again and not just that, it made me believe in the power of music to make us feel alive. More people need to see this band and other master-level musicians like them.
I had seen a few videos of this group, The Delvon Lamar Organ Trio, and really liked what I heard. They were going to be playing a small venue in Austin called Antone’s, so I went to hear them last Sunday evening. They were great. They were enjoying themselves too. It couldn’t have been any better! Cool jazz, blues and gritty grooves.
This was such a great show all the way around - musicality, fun, and funky sensibility. The Duling Hall crowd dug it!
The staff was friendly and helpful. The band was fantastic, very talented musicians.
Such a great night! Trio was off the hook, service and overall night was epic! Thank you:)
The Band was excellent! I would have been nice if they played more 'JAZZ" songs, since I thought they are a Jazz band. The Venue... is beautiful!!!! BUT the seating definitely needs some rethinking. ! Not know the layout of this new venue and the online map does not help at all with seating. The seats we purchased was on the "other' side of the wall, other side of the bar an we could not see the band AT ALL! This is unacceptable.. when I purchase tickets to see a band,,, I want to SEE them!!! Jimmy's Jazz Club did not do a good job with seating for live performances, this is very unfortunate.
