Seeing the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio perform made me want to see more live music again and not just that, it made me believe in the power of music to make us feel alive. More people need to see this band and other master-level musicians like them.

They were going to be playing a small venue in Austin called Antone’s, so I went to hear them last Sunday evening. They were great. They were enjoying themselves too. It couldn’t have been any better! Cool jazz, blues and gritty grooves.

The Venue... is beautiful!!!! BUT the seating definitely needs some rethinking. ! Not know the layout of this new venue and the online map does not help at all with seating. The seats we purchased was on the "other' side of the wall, other side of the bar an we could not see the band AT ALL! This is unacceptable.. when I purchase tickets to see a band,,, I want to SEE them!!! Jimmy's Jazz Club did not do a good job with seating for live performances, this is very unfortunate.
