Loved it. Come back to Philly. There are not enough cumbia events. I loved that it was pura cumbia for at least 3 hours. Would love to be able to download a DJ mix or playlist from Cumbiatron.
I think it was a good event but house of blues was too small for dancing especially cumbia
Venue was too small for an actual dancing event. People were basically shoving and pushing and hitting too much. I get it, it’s a concert, but this is more of a dancing show, so more elbow room would’ve been better. I felt bad trying to dance more especially with the fire cumbia soundtrack, because I was too close to hitting people in the face, or people weren’t able to spin or dance. Music was good tho, picture moments, really hot but that’s a given at those kind of shows, just a different venue next time?
Arrived around 930 amd left at midnight, the first 1.5 hour if the dj set was okay, he repeated some of the same tracks. Had a few hits. The last 30 minutes I was there was when the Dj played better beats and songs. A little hard to dance but overall we made it fun. I would think twice with doing it again.
I personally feel it's CUMBIA. There are a lot of people who I'm sure wished to show off their moves but weren't able to because everyone fit like sardines. Cumbiatron is a overall hit. I just wish the calculated how many floor tickets to sell.
just like any Mexican club night really. but wasn't too bad.
It was awesome... guy played all the hits and then some. luvit.
It was such a nice event!! Everyone was there to dance and have a great time. The variety of cumbia music were great. Thank you for putting together such a great "show"!
I was disappointed in the lack of rave feel I feel like it was overly advertised as a cumbia rave an the only thing that was rave was considered the blow up art. No extra lights or anything to set it apart from a regular club. As far as the show I felt like the cumbia could of been mixed better as well as had a mix of other Latin genres but still with the heavy focus of cumbia as it was a cumbia event just having the variety I keep it exciting.
