Coal Chamber were excellent. Their unique heavy sound was the perfect ending to the show. My only problem was that they only played for 50 minutes. I thought it would at least go 75,however it was still worth it. Fear Factory kicked butt and Jasta was a ball of energy and actually played 1 Hatebreed song. Great lineup and great show.
I have been going to shows at the Masquerade for nearly 20 years and this was the best I have seen. Heaven is a great venue for a live show and the staff always do a great job. I took a friend for her birthday and she had a great time as well. The performances were awesome and the crowd was crazy. I actually went for Combichrist and they were my favorite. Filter was great as well and I would see them again if I have the chance. The other bands were good, they just aren't someone I seek out for a concert. Thanks for a fun night.
While Coal Chamber was very good, Combichrist made the night. I did not know them before the show and was pleasantly surprised. Filter was underwhelming. My main beef with this show was that American Head Charge did not play. There was no indication that they would not be there and no mention of them during the show. I suspect there was some falling out as there is still no mention of them anywhere. I bought the tickets to see them play, so to say I am disappointed is an understatement. Really enjoyed Combichrist though, I would see them again.
Coal Chamber absolutely killed it. Such an awesome show by them. Combichrist was amazing, loved their performance and sound was great!
I did not even know Coal Chamber was a band anymore until I saw a posting for this show. The openers American Head Charge, Filter and Combichrist made this a superstar industrial/metal show for a good mix of people at Newport Music Hall. For a band that has not played in 13 years they were spectacular with stage presence, sound and setlist (my 3 personal criteria). New songs from the upcoming Rivals album were played....I will definitely pick up this CD up in May. For a band that I last saw in 2000 with Type O Negative, they still have much fire left for old and new fans alike.
What a great show. This was a very enjoyable evening into a lot of loud heavy music.
This was my 4th time to see Sevendust and they were SICK. What a bonus that I got to do a meet-n-greet with the band. LJ is amazing and all the guys were great - felt really comfortable. The Club is perfect - been once before. Easy to get to, lots of parking, great views - nothing to criticize. I'll go again. This time the option to meet-n-greet was a big, welcome surprise. Got to pay Sevendust their dues for many years of spectacular entertainment. And the bonus of seeing Coal Chamber and Lacuna Coil made the night perfect. Go for the bands and go for the Club - both worthy.
Lacuna Coil was good not great but good. It would have been great if they would have fixed their audio. The only reason I went to this was for Sevendust and they did not disappoint. My boyfriend doesn't listen to Sevendust but after attending the concert he said he would look into them. The venue was great if you're thinking about going don't think about it just go.
I've been listening to Sevendust for years and they never disappoint! Club Nokia was a great venue! It was awesome to see Coal Chamber after so many years of them not touring! I also did the meet and great and the guys from Sevendust are the coolest guys! Overall it was an amazing experience.
