SO GOOD!

ive seen Cloud Cult several times now ....i think every time they have ever played in Seattle. They just get better and better.. i soooo look forward to the next concert ;) and the Neptune theater is one of my favorite venues....
The first 1/2 of the show was a screening of a film (theSeekerFilm) that the band wrote and released in 2016. There is no dialog, only the music and lyrics of the band. It is heart-wrenchingly fantastic. The film is a journey of one woman, from her birth on, through joy, heartbreak and growth. It is stunningly beautiful (and only 60 min). The second half of the show was exactly what I've come to expect from a CC show: Brilliant artists (musicians, painters and storytellers). Plenty of deep cuts and some never before played live numbers that were energetic and poignant. See them if you have the chance.
The beginning of the show was very heavy. The movie was super emotional but amazing and the live soundtrack made it that much more impacting. The intermission was not too long, a good amount of time to unwind from the movie and stretch the legs a little. The following set was much happier, much more uplifting and the band showed that they actually enjoy playing in Seattle very much. They're not just a group of musicians on stage, they actually act like family up there while they sing.
Truly unique and awe inspiring group in a wonderful venue
We did not know what to expect with regards to " The Seeker" but adding the visual element that the film is to the score they played elicited very powerful emotions.
The show was great!!! Good sound, good lighting, awesome performance!!
Cloud Cult was at the top of their game throughout this show, with a perfect blend of new and old and an emphasis on the more energetic tunes. This band should be playing bigger venues, but it is nice to hear them in smaller spaces like the Sinclair.
Second time seeing them. The first time it was 2 years ago when they were doing the acoustic set. No acoustic this time but still amazing. They can convey such emotion without having to slow down their songs. The whole set was amazing. It's obviously not "hard rock" as another review said. For people that don't know this band: Still go see them. They are such good artists. The Sinclair is always a good venue. Some of the band members were hanging around after, which is always kind of cool. Can't wait to see them again!
Great group of musicians, first time seeing them and first time at the Sinclair. Great venue, sound was tight, spot on,crisp and clear. Will definitely look for other shows there.
