BLUE MAN GROUP AT THE LUXOR
Before Blue Man Group was astounding audiences in Las Vegas and beyond, the founding members were entertaining crowds in Manhattan's Lower East Side. By 1991, Chris Wink, Matt Goldman, and Phil Stanton had a full show at Astor Place Theatre. Blue Man Group's big break arrived in 2000 with their addition to the Las Vegas line-up at The Luxor. Internationally, Blue Man Group has had show runs in cities from Sydney to Vienna. In 2017, Blue Man Group was purchased by the circus-like show Cirque du Soleil to be expanded. The genius of the Blue Man Group has been rewarded with the Obie Award, Off-Broadway Alliance Award, and Drum! Magazine Readers Choice Award. Currently in residency in The Luxor Las Vegas, Blue Man Group also has shows in Boston, New York, Orlando, and Chicago.
ABOUT THE SHOW
Formed in 1991, The Blue Man Group has made the transition from a performance group to an iconic Las Vegas experience. In fact, it's one of the longest-running shows in Sin City. The Blue Man Group live puts on a multi-sensory show integrating percussion and instrumental music, vibrant neon lights, and a variety of tricks using props and water. The actors faces are painted in a signature blue paint, and their signature all-black outfits add to the drama. Let yourself escape into a world of magic as the artists integrate live rock music with slight of hand and use of unexpected props. The group has made its mark on pop culture, with references to the production appearing in storylines on shows from Arrested Development to Scrubs. The groups recordings include "The Complex" album from 2002 which features Dave Matthews and Gavin Rossdale, and "THREE," an instrumental album released in 2016.

Very enjoyable. 2nd show and hope to be able to see more!!
A nice show. Humorous and comical at times. While I would recommend it, it is a bit overrated.
the event was very good not Amazing. I wish if they add more innovative sketches.
I took my wife to the show for her birthday the show was awsome they get you involved it's a great show
What an unique show. The show combined comedy, high tech props, and music. My wife and I were thoroughly entertained for the duration of the show.
It's a fun show. I wouldn't call it exceptional, but worth it.
Show should have been incredible, very funny, great music, performers were perfect. However when purchasing the tickets I did not know that the front seats came with complimentary ponchos. I spent part of the show clinging to the poncho thinking at any moment I would get sprayed with something until I finally was the only person sprayed with a sticky substance that was designed to resemble chewed up Twinkies. It was up into my poncho top and bottom. It was all over my legs, shoes, in my hair, on my hands, my Coach purse and stuck in the lace overlay on my dress. It smelled putrid and I was afraid to move the whole show and make the situation worse. This esp put a damper on the part of the show where they encourage the entire audience to dance with them. I had enjoyed the show much more if it were not for being covered in whatever this was. My coach purse doesn't look the same after trying to wash the stuff off and I'm hoping and praying it comes out of my hand wash only dress ok.
Not a big fan at first but my husband always loved them. Now that I have seen the show live I understand. This was the best show I have ever seen. Very funny and entertaining. As soon as my husband got back home he started watching both DVDs he already had. At the show he got pictures and a T-shirt with one members thumb print and pictures with the band as well.
Excellent for kids, sit anywere u will be ok!!!!!!
Absolutely amazing show!! Funny, great style, and amazing percussion!
The show was great and it was a lot better than expected. Only flaw was that online ticketmaster showed the show starting at 10pm, but when we reviewed the tickets it actually started at 9:30pm. We didn't find this out until we got to the theater about 15 mins late.
From the moment you walk in and sit there is something to see...from start to finish this show was very entertaining
Me , my wife and my kids , family and friends have all been to multiple cirque du soliel shows. My wife and I to 9 of them . We wanted to see Something different for her birthday. We were highly disappointed. It was too slow and not worth the money we paid. Never again and will not suggest this show to anyone.
We had a group of 7, ages 21-82 everyone enjoyed the show, love the interaction with them
I recently went to the show and had front row center. Great performance!!! A little further back would have been better. I saw this show a few years ago and not much had changed which was kind of disappointing, however my wife and daughter hadn't seen it, so they were happy! My daughter is 2.5 BTW!!!
This is a completely creative and whimsical show that everyone of all ages will enjoy!
Didn't quite know what to expect, but I loved every minute. This wasn't like anything I've ever seen before.
Loved the show!!! I would see them again. Very upbeat!
First time ive seen these guys and it was astonishing!! Worth all the money! Good vibes, many opportunities to laugh and enjoy the concert.
