Nice concert

Sony Hall was the perfect venue for that big but delicate sound of Billy Cobham's group, all fantastic musicians, and of course, he is a drummer's drummer. We wish he would perform in New York City more often, but this was a real treat.
First time at Sony Hall. Billy was great as usual ????????????
I have always been a Billy Cobham fan. The first time seeing him in person is now off my bucket list. The experience can not be measured to anything I have done in life. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life.
Billy Cobham is a force of nature and his band is full of world class musicians. Outstanding performance! The venue, Ludlow Garage is top notch with an amazing sound system and an awesome staff, I can't say enough about what a fantastic time I had there! Go see Billy Cobham and catch a show at Ludlow Garage if you can!
Billy’s the best! And at 78 he hasn’t lost much of his great speed. Great funky jazz and some interesting new slow numbers. He’s a good songwriter. Outstanding keyboards from Scott Tibbs, super solid sax from Brandon Wilkins with Tim Landers holding the bottom together in great style. P. S. Listening to one of their cd’s makes driving in traffic much easier.
This was my first time seeing Mr. Cobham…I must say…it was one of the best performances I’ve seen…simply amazing!!!
Good morning, I had never seen Mr. Cobham in concert, so when I saw he was coming to Detroit I was elated - then to see that he was coming to the Music Hall what could be better? Right? 1ST let me state that for my first time seeing him, he was TRULY GREAT particularly at 70 +, I knew that with a catalog of music as enormous as his I wasnt going to hear all my favorites. The Crosswinds Quartet was extremely on point and a wonderful accompaniment to Mr. Cobham. My issue is the seating arrangement at the Aretha Jazz Cafe/Closet - this area was not meant to seat all the people that attended the Saturday show! Four chairs to a little table was waaaay too much! Another chair had to be added to the table that I mistakely thought was a table for two.. Between the fact we were almost in each other laps, the waiters running back and forth, patrons themselves walking to get to the bar it was not the evening I had hoped for . I titled my review Greed because whoever runs the Music Hall fully understood the number of people who would want to attend this concert and should have either made changes in the seating arrangements or added an early show or used the full size auditorium.. No thought for covid here..... You just never know.... MW
Came out smokin' hot and just blew me away with their energy from these "older" gentlemen, and as always The Tralph and their staff were great.
Billy and his band played tight and harmoniusly. The music was transcendent.
