The performance moving and I'm grateful to have attended and enjoyed such an event. My support will always be geared towards our youth no matter the framework they derived from. I'd like to take a moment to thank each one of them that practiced, played, and transmitted the passion of their talent and work in this presentation. To those who organized it and served the attendance. Thank you for the great execution of it. It provided such atmosphere of relentless optimism, fearless strength, creativity, and diligence. Bravo
When the show was beginning, Bob Gale was on stage with Christopher Lloyd, James Tolkan and Alan Silvestri introducing the conductor and orchestra. After Bob shared some words with the audience, the movie began and magically, we were all transported to Hill Valley, 1985! Since the score to BTTF by Alan Silvestri is one of my favorites along with music by John Williams and James Horner, I couldn't be happier hearing it being played live 20 feet from where I sat in the audience. This is a must-experience event for any BTTF fan! Since I purchased VIP seating, I was able to meet Alan, Bob and Chris after the show. They took pictures and signed autographs for us. That in itself was AMAZING! You must experience this show! It is your density... I mean... your destiny!
It really was something different to see your favorite movie played while an orchestra is playing the score!
It was a great experience watching Back to the Future w/a Symphony. The music was great, the crowd had a great time and we even got to see some great actors. I took my younger cousin with me to celebrate his birthday and he loved it. It was fun and this should happen again in some form or another. I'm glad to have taken the opportunity to experience this event.
I see an orchestra play the concert of the movie and at the begining of the play I see Christopher Lloyd
This is a great performance, I was 15 when the movie came out and I took my 15 year old to see this, we loved it. Its like going to a movie, but better. Hard to explain why you don't mind paying 10 times more to watch a movie, maybe its Radio City Music Hall which is the more impressive theater in the world. Maybe its the live music. Maybe is seeing the actors come on stage. Maybe is being able to drink during the movie. Maybe is having a needed potty break in the middle knowing you're not missing anything. Whatever it maybe, this is a must go performance.
This event (especially within the hallowed halls of radio city) was just awesome. Hearing the Symphony along with the original movie was a once in a lifetime experience! Sitting on radio city, watching movies as was it's original purpose back in the 70s was so cool, accompanied with popcorn and candy to boot! Recommended for all ages!
The orchestra did such an amazing job there were times I forgot they were playing it blended so well with the movie. It was such an incredible experience they should do it with all three movies.
If your like me, an eighties kid, you remember Back to the Future as a fun movie with quatable lines and a kick butt ride. What I didn't realize at the time is what a truly great comedy this film is. The audience laughed like they had never seen it before , myself included. The music is a work of art, and the live orchestra kicked it up from a great film viewing to an unbelievable night out at the theater.
