by Marc J on 8/19/24New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkI recently saw The Godfather at the NJ PAC with the NJ Symphony Orchestra, and all I can say is, "WOW!"I have seen the movie, conservatively speaking, roughly 75 times, but never on the big screen. So that in itself was a treat. But to have a live orchestra adding to the soundtrack was simply breathtaking. It made the experience much more visceral. These top-notch musicians flawlessly performed the music, and for someone who has seen the movie so many times, there were only one or two moments where the orchestra pulled me out of the movie-watching experience. These were minor in the scope of the entire performance. What a great experience!

by Don on 6/5/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankWe had a nice time at Count Basie listening to the NJ Orchestra. The show was advertised as Epic Scores of John Williams and more. The first act was all of the "more". While it was nice music, we would have liked to have a bit less of that and then hear the theme from Jurassic Park, Home Alone and Indiana Jones. Overall, we had a great night out at the theater though and enjoyed it a lot. The Star wars music and Superman theme was amazing!

I had the privilege to experience This event with my Husband and share my thoughts and insights . I would give it a 10 star if it was possible.. the different instruments playing was captivating..love to do this again .
