Very good show from both, but sometimes too loud.

Thoroughly enjoyed the music, but sitting on the beach for 2 or more hours did me in!
I have seen the Australian Pink Floyd show twice now. The first time at the Palms in Las Vegas. Because of their amazing set, props, and light show Mandalay Bay Beach was not the best place to see them. I was so disappointed that the classic Pink Floyd magical feel was not there. Their sound lends itself to working better in a more intimate environment. At Mandalay Bay Beach, it felt and even sounded like a typical Pink Floyd cover band. Because I've seen them more than once I know how phenomenal their talent is and how you can get carried away in the show and almost feel for a moment you are really experiencing Pink Floyd. It's a shame that people did not get to experience that at this venue. This band's talent is astounding, they worked so hard and so long to be where they are and they deserve to have people see them at their best. The show usually has the big round screen, the teacher puppets and lasers. However there's no way I would go see them at a small stage outdoor venue again.
Australian Pink Floyd has mastered the original songs, sounding just like the albums we all love. Amazing acoustics, perfect vocal reproduction, visual perfection in light show. Literally could not tell the difference with original Pink Floyd except it was LIVE!!! Wanted concert to go on forever.
To begin the Led Zepplin 2 portion of the concert will make you cringe listening to a non talented poorly performing band that sounded terrible and lamely mimics Led Zeppelin. I have seen Aussie Pink Floyd several times and have marveled at the accuracy and attention to detail they have in their tribute to Pink Floyd. Truly in a good indoor venue the best tribute band in the world period. Last Friday night at Mandalay Bay Beach concert they were crammed into a stage that was way too small for the band forcing them to condense there settings. The light show was scrapped probably because of the proximity of the airport and the FAA regulations on use of lasers in the outdoors. The light show is a signature portion of the bands performance and to chop it down to a single laser effect on a wall was nothing short of pathetic. I felt sorry for the band they played well considering the venue but was so limited on what is normally a great show. Whomever booked the band at this venue should be flogged.
the stage was to small for APF. i have seen them many times and thier stage is part of the show. plus the sound was just ok. next time i will only go see them if they are indoors
Amazing! Best thing next to actually having David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Roger Waters on stage again. SO glad I went. Fantastic recreation of Pink Floyd's music, visuals, props, and vibe!
This was an incredibly awesome show! They did a great job!
I cant say that I was fascinated by Led Zeppelin 2 performance. I wasn't. But the Australian Pink Floyd was Awesome, Very cool, Very Presentable, and Very engaging. Loved it.
Seeing them for a second time. Very tight musically, vocals good, lights, accompanying videos all well great. They played the "familiar" Floyd tunes that most fans expect. Hardcore fans my have looked for some more diversity ie: Fat Old Sun, Set the Controls, early stuff, Arnold Layne etc. This show had Led Zepplin 2 as an opening act. Very loud, hard to discern lyrics. I would have rather heard all Floyd. They played about an hour and ten. Aussie Floyd... an hour and a half. This is not an arena venue, but it would have been nice to have the side stage screens running to focus on some of the guitar work and performers.
If you close your eyes at an Australian Pink Floyd show, you'll swear that its Roger, David, Nick and Rick on stage. They are amazing and nail every song. Mike Kidson on sax is spectacular and the female backup singers are amazing on Great Gig In The Sky!! I will see this band every time they are in the area.
Although they beat you over the head with the fact they are from Australia, these guys are really good. You're not going to see a real Pink Floyd concert anymore so I highly recommend the band from down under. You'll have fun.
The staging was impressive, the laser light show was the best I ever seen. But I haven't seen that many. The musicians were fantastic, the vocals great, it was fun. I would go again to see this group
If you want to see the closest thing to an actual Pink Floyd concert, this is it! Everything about the show, even the backup singers, was superb. The quality of the music from every member of the band was off-scale and the fidelity to the Floyd sound was excellent. It wasn't just a carbon-copy of the recorded music, this was an "alive" live show. The only criticism I have is that the setlist, drawing from the very diverse options, was a bit disjointed.
Great concert good light show. Would tell every one to go see it. Had a great night
The music was good but the band had no "stage presence". Light show was good but repetitive. Nice venue' nice night out, average concert.
We've seen Pink Floyd and the Aussie Pink Floyd multiple times over the years. This year's show delivers 90% of the original Pink Floyd performance and was the best we've seen from the Aussie band. Outstanding laser and lights, really captured the essence of the Pink Floyd experience. The backing vocalists and sax player were dead on.
Not having been able to see Pink Floyd in Concert, I thought the next best thing was to see a tribute band. Aussie Pink Floyd was the first in line so I bought tickets for them. I have heard from friends who live in other parts of the country that they've seen them and highly endorse them. Now it is my turn to highly endorse them. Like most fans of Pink Floyd, we are not just fans because we like their songs or the message, it is because we love the music. Pink Floyd is well known for their powerful guitar riff's, we all love them, and Aussie Pink Floyd matched the guitars so well that it was like the song was being played on the radio. After the show I left with the feeling that I'm okay with never having seen the real Pink Floyd, Aussie played so well that the only thing that could have been different was that had I seen Pink Floyd, it's totally possible that they wouldn't have played as well, knowing how some bands like to change things up a bit. We know the songs, we know the guitars, we want to sing along and drum with the drummer and play the air guitar when we know it's coming and if it gets changed up you can't do that, but we all had no problems with Aussie. The only down side I can speak of is that they sang at least 4 songs that were "obscure" songs, they easily could've been replaced with more popular songs. Definitely a big thumbs up.
It was great ! the show was good,on time all favourite hit songs and the dolls wre hilarious !
From the direct note for note rendition of Another Brick in The Wall to Wish You Were Here the Music was spot on and memorable but the vocals just weren't there they were acceptable but in a few spots I felt myself cringe when they lead vocals obviously missed a note or couldn't reach it.
I have seen the real Pink Floyd band in concert three times and this tribute band was a good as the real thing. Great light show and the guitar playing was fabulous. The venue at the Windsor Casino was perfect. After the show, the clearing of the audience was handled very well, it took only 15 minutes to exit the venue and get back to the Casino floor. If they are back close to us next year, I will definitely attend the show!
