Great show! I’m so glad I was able to see him at Caesars. Intimate and up close. Never did I dream I could be so close to him. Go see him perform live. You won’t be disappointed.
Andy Bell rocked this theater. Everyone was on their feet dancing. It was an awesome concert with old faves and some new songs in the mix.
Concert was awesome!!! Had a great time!!! Have seen him now 6 times.
Andy's voice is still great, and I will always choose to see him whenever he tours - but - I admit I really missed Vince Clarke. The band was good but there was something missing - and that was definitely Vince. So my main complaint and reason for 4 vrs 5 stars was more for technical reasons - the mix was not good. We were sitting in front of a large speaker (stage left) where it was mainly the bass guitar (I think) booming throughout - and overpowering everything, including Andy's mic. So - mixers, whoever you are (I didn't see anyone - I looked) - please make Andy's microphone louder/crisper than the bass! Thanks! (PS - Do not stay in Bally's - it hasn't been updated since it was built - a loooong time ago).
My wife and were on our feet dancing along to every song! This was an unforgettable experience. Andy Bell treated us to 19 amazing songs. He played many of his Erasure hits (Oh L'Amour, A Little Respect, Chains of Love, Sometimes, Chorus, Drama, Stop, Ship of Fools, Victim of Love, etc.) along with some of my all-time favorites (Always, Breathe, Blue Savannah, Hideaway), and some he did in collaboration with DJ/songwriter Dave Aude (Aftermath, True Original, Thank You), and some from his solo career (Electric Blue). I flew from Michigan to Atlantic City just to go to this concert, and it did not disappoint! I can't wait to hear when Erasure will be doing another US Tour, hopefully soon! He sings all of my happy songs. I would highly recommend his concerts to anyone.
What a pleasure to see Andy Bell perform his biggest hits. The entire concert felt like a singalong and he sounded great!
Want my opinion? Pay me like I pay you for something.
I sat in the 3rd row from the stage. Up close and it was terrific! Andy sang a lot of his hits. We enjoyed the evening.
Andy can no longer hit any high notes. His voice is shot. He sang the songs, but barely sounded like the recordings. He also appeared drunk, sweating profusely. His between song bantering was strange, weird and ill timed. . He had one background singer, whose voice seemed a lower range than his. Why did you not have a couple back up singers with high voices to at least help him hit the higher notes.
