The show was great. ATWWD were really funny and that was my exposure to them. The Aura’s “General Admission” was awful. I do not recommend buying those unless it’s a concert. No employee knew where General Admission seating was because seating did not exist for General Admission. They didn’t even know where to send us. So, we figured out if you lean against the bar for 2 hours, watching this show and if you were lucky enough to get a spot, you were fine. I bought these as a gift for my partner, and they seemed like they had a good time. But, I do not recommend GA tickets at The Aura for this type of show.
I had a very disappointing experience at @belascola this past Friday at the sold out Netflix is a Joke show for And That's Why We Drink. I ordered drinks only to find out the venue does not accept Tap To Pay or Cash. I had read the Before You Go in the email, and that was not mentioned. I didn't bring a physical card since I took public transit there. Disappointed, I headed to my seat. I had saved up to be able to get a 3rd row isle seat. I got to my seat to find that the seats were folding chairs- that had been zip tied together tightly. My row had some larger guests and I only had half of my seat available. After asking the usher for help, she said they could reseat me- but it would be all the way in the back! So I sat with half my body on my chair, having to adjust all the time which was distracting (since there were no open seat from no shows in my area to go to). My back was bothering me all weekend as a result. I will NOT be recommending shows/performances at the Belasco as a result. Happy to chat with management.
And That's Why We Drink is a great podcast who puts on an AMAZING live show. The hosts have impeccable chemistry and play off of one another perfectly. The comedy and spooky aspects are balanced well, which make for a fun and entertaining show, both for long time fans and new show-goers alike. I hope they continue to tour for years to come!
ATWWD put on a wonderfully hilarious show! Em and Christine are witty and delightful - truly a great live show experience!
Had so much fun!! Would definitely go again! I haven’t laughed that much in a king time!
Em and Xtine were in excellent form this show! Thoroughly entertaining, was laughing hard enough my cheeks hurt. Their friendship and banter gives me life! I love their story telling and humour.
So glad they came to Indy, but I'd travel to see them if I had to! Em & Christine are always hilarious and they have really worked to make their live shows a good time!
I saw their show in Indy and left even more in love with them than when I arrived. I laughed, I gasped, I got full-on goosecam…what more could anyone want? Their show was so creative and they manage to make the most insane things hilarious. I can’t recommend this show enough. I hope they come back to Indianapolis again in the future. I would see them again in a heartbeat!
I was surprised at how entertaining it was! I love their podcast so I shouldn't be but I've been to other live podcast shows that were good but this one was AMAZING! Kept my adhd brain focused the entire show
