Ailey II Tickets

My husband and I really enjoyed the athleticism and artistry of the dancers. We will definitely try to see the Ailey II dancers again. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Incredible performances with no dance shoes, ballerina type performances, extremely talented, individuals, 12 talented individuals.

I first saw Alvin Ailey in the late 70's in Boston while in college. It was an incredibly memorable show. I was so impressed with the music and dance. I had always wanted to see them again. 40 years later that finally happened. The dancers were good. However the music for the most part was awful. It was difficult to find any meaning between the music and the dance. I expected to see some chemistry between the female and male dancers, perhaps in one or two dances. Some perhaps sensual air with the dance and persons. Honestly it was a huge disappointment. Again, the dancers were good but the show lacked a connection between the music and dance. Not pleasant or enjoyable music. I believe Alvin Ailey himself would have been disappointed. In the future they needs to be a connection between music & dance so the audience can feel what it is the dancers are trying to express.

This show was phenomenal! I especially enjoyed parts 2&3. Pure and raw talent! The dancers exude this energy that takes over you and draws you in! Loved the international flavor intertwined in the dances! I could watch them again and again!

Had delightful Dinner at Pacifico Restaurant before the show. They validated our Parking which was a pleasant surprise. The Alley II performance was just amazing. The dancers were all so young and talented. It was really special to see them in such an intimate venue like the Shubert where there is really no bad seats. Hope this is an annual Shubert event. If so will be there again next time they perform.

I LOVED the show, I thought the dancing was FABULOUS! The theater is beautiful and I love the fact that they had a photo booth {a nice touch}.

The performances were fresh, new and exciting. I was taken in after the first step in the first dance! The young dancers of Ailey ll are a force to be reckoned with. We have much to look forward to in them.

I enjoyed this performance immensely. Dancers were extremely entertaining and kept me wanting more. Great choreography and excellent dancers. Highly recommend this performance to anyone looking for great entertainment.

Ailey II performance was Stunning....simply Stunning!!!! Every dancer is an artist and technition. So beautiful. A perfect blend of dancer, choreographer, music and lighting. Perfection!!!!
