Really good ballet. Nice event for children three years and older.
Nice theater, great show. My daughter and I loved it!
This was a good production for children and an innovative way to introduce ballet to children as a performing art. The audience seemed to enjoy it. However, we were expecting an 'adult' performance as nowhere on the literature did it state that the performance was for children as far as we could see. As we were not familiar with the company, we were a bit surprised to find little girls running around in fancy dress and I wouldn't have booked it if I'd known. It was disappointing as we we spending a few days in New York and could have spent those dollars on something more to our taste. I would add that it was obvious that we weren't the only audience members who had been caught out.
So perfect for young children. Wonderful way to introduce the Fine Arts to children. Wished you still the Little Peoples Orchestra.
Not a great dance quality but my 6 year olds daughter was happy.
The most horrible production and ballet I have ever seen.
My 3 year old daughter loved it from begining to end. She was clapping and shouting. The play was very cute and entertaining. The hour went by so fast. I would love to go back and I have totally recommend it. Anyone with a child aroudn 5 and under will enjoy it... A bit older not so much is very kid's friendly :)
I took my 5 year old son who was captivated throughout entire show. It was the perfect length, visually stimulating with an easy to follow story. Great venue for family in convenient location. All seats good. Great that there were Male dancers as well.
Excellent production of the Nutcracker! The ballet was top notch and the performers really made an endearing impression. This was a great experience for my girlfriend and I, and we would definitely recommend others to see future productions by the New York School of Ballet.
