Cleverly named after their Denver area code, electro-pop duo 3OH!3 has spent the last decade creating overt party anthems fit for both the Top 40 airwaves and urban nightlife. The pair, comprised of Nathaniel Motte and Sean Foreman, riles up ticket buyers with live performances that hinge on the sing-along nature of their most popular tracks, some of which feature fellow pop sensations like Ke$ha (“My First Kiss”) and Katy Perry (“Starstrukk”). 3OH!3 also guest starred on Ke$ha’s “Blah Blah Blah,” as well as Lil Jon’s “Hey,” both in 2010.
The Boulder natives unleashed their eponymous first studio album in 2007, but didn’t hit radars until their sophomore set, “Want.” Once that effort’s lead single “Don’t Trust Me” hit the Billboard Top 10, 3OH!3 was signing on for the Vans Warped Tour, presenting at the MTV Video Music Awards and co-headlining concerts with Cobra Starship, among others. Two more studio efforts have surfaced, with the most recent electro-rock collection, “Omens,” dropping in June 2013.

I saw them in 2018 after being a fan since 2008. The show was incredible and they even let people get on stage to dance with them during “Don’t Trust Me”. Afterwards, they came and met everyone that attended and took pictures. Sean, specifically, was so kind and we talked for awhile about random stuff. He was so humble and remembered me from when we talked in 2012! Another thing that attests to their humbleness is that they sent out signed thank you cards to people that bought their album. Not just a signature, full on writing in the card. I will forever be a fan. If you have the opportunity to see them, GO!!! Again, they are great guys and make awesome music. You won’t want to miss out!
You can tell they came out to have fun and interact with the crowd! They put on a really great and energetic show. I would definitely see them again!
The venue was great for their audience as we could get super close to the stage. Most people there only knew WANT, so they pandered to the crowd with primarily WANT songs. I wish they played more from their other albums, but I understand the setlist. They were a ton of fun, interacted with the crowd, and had a decently long performance. I could listen to them for hours. However, the opening act The Gunz Show was annoying. Never heard of Lil Lotus, but he was a talented guy. My only criticism of 3OH!3 is that I had too much fun and haven't been able to talk for three days from screaming my head off to all their songs.
It wasn't bad. I'm glad I finally got to see them after years of wanting to. I did not enjoy the idea of having a DJ perform though. I think getting a second opener would have been a better choice. I don't really go to a concert to listen to prerecorded music. I also think that the use of lights or some effects could have visually made the performance more appealing. But, I did have fun and I am happy I went.
Irving Plaza is a great venue. The line moved quick to get in and the location of the doors makes it easier to get in and out of the crowd. Regarding the show, 3Oh!3 was awesome, as always. Had a great time!
Why were there so many openers, one was literally like a bar mitzvah or prom dj, and not a very good one either. It was so bad I couldn't stick around to see the reason I bought the tickets. Please put doors @7 if it's doors @7 and the headliner isn't until 8, and the show itself isn't until 9:30.
Wonderful venue, loved the performances. Such a fun energy!
Besides the drunk girl next to me who wanted to fight, it was the best night of my life seeing 3oh3
This was my first concert at The Stone Pony, and it was amazing! I got meet and greet so I got to meet 3OH!3 and The Summer Set, and they're some of the nicest people. The opening acts, New Beat Fund and Wallpaper, were fantastic live and they got the crowd pumped up! When The Summer Set came out, they did a great job too. 3Oh!3 finished it off strong! Such a great show.
