First off, the opener was AMAZING. The Native Howl defies description simply because the term "thrashgrass", what they call their style of music, doesn't do justice to the sound they create. In the same groove as Iron Horse or Hayseed Dixie, they take acoustic metal far beyond any attempts to describe and must simply be experienced. They more than set the tone for the night! Then Zakk and the boys came on stage and kept the magic flowing. All classics and all bangers from the Black Sabbath catalogue poured through the Zakk Wylde Playdough Fun Factory of goodness to ooze out a new gooey layer of perfection. Zakk's vocals add a darker, grittier layer to Ozzy's lyrics that leave you feeling all dirty and glowing, like a night out on the seedier side of Mardi Gras. I will never miss another show by either of these acts.
With it being a rainy roundtrip road trip from San Diego, we weren't sure the trip and show would have been worth it. Thankfully, we were proved differently! The Native Howl opened the show and they were pretty interesting and good. Then Zakk, JD and Joey took command of the stage and the sold-out crowd at The Belasco. Ripping thru Sabbath classic after classic with passion, talent and vigor, the boys kept the Los Angeles crowd chanting, thrashing and screaming for more. They were on stage for almost 2 hours and delivered an explosive performance like no other Black Sabbath tribute band can. As an unexpected treat, Zakk played from the balcony and behind his head, to the bedazzled crowd, during the show closer, War Pigs. All in all, an amazing show not to miss!

BLS and Zakk Sabbath are the best bands on the planet! I try to see them every time they come to town. Never disappointed!
Extraordinary as expected! Live music at its best!
Fantastic show. Saw Zakk Sabbath twice during this tour. Had a great opener too.
Going to see Zakk Sabbath was the next best thing to going to an actual vintage Black Sabbath show! These guys channeled Black Sabbath in every way, very impressive! Great Show, great set list, I highly recommend Zakk Sabbath if you are in need a serious Black Sabbath infusion! I did and it worked perfectly!
The Native Howl was a very pleasant surprise, really good. Zakk was fantastic and the band was tight and spot on. Fantastic time.
