A mighty warrior forged in the heat of battle -- no, wait, that's Xena....
Ok, take two:
Long a mere dream kicking around in the overactive imaginations of its founders, White Ford Bronco officially came into being in the Spring of 2008. Since then our five member ensemble has been sparking bouts of flannel-laden, slap-bracelet-snapping, pog-playing, big-butt-loving nostalgia across the Washington, D.C. area that we call home. If you're longing for the days when Danny Tanner could solve everything with a hug and presidential scandals only involved ruining a marriage, allow us to take you on a musical journey to that magical last decade of the 20th century. Whatever flavor -- be it Alternative, Rock, Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, or Country -- if it's 90s, we'll play it. Come check out one of our upcoming shows!
It was a great show. Would definitely see them again. They were entertaining and their performance was great.
I was reminded of how exciting and fun it is to see WFB! They are so great.
Saw White Ford Bronco at the 930 Club and had a blast! 2nd time seeing WFB and loved every minute of it! 1st time at the 930 Club and it was everything I was told it would be.
Please remove the seats. A floor would have been better/more fun.
Incredible show, great energy, great band. Highly recommend
Killer show. Solid venue. Lots of fun! Always a good time when they're in NYC
Had a blast at this concert! Great set list and fun venue!
In response to the review from "Actual 90s Fan," we want to clarify that we didn't play anything from the '00s -- only hits from the '90s. We do try to maintain a catalog of well over 100 songs and cover many genres, and, looking at the setlist, it looks like we did do three country songs (Friends in Low Places, Man I Feel Like a Woman, This Kiss) that night. It seemed like the rockers from Blink 182, Green Day, Lit, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Goo Goo Dolls, 3rd Eye Blind, et al. that night kept things pretty well balanced, but perhaps not. Anyway, thanks for coming out, especially in the rain! -WFB
Came for my birthday. Band was fun. Air con was great! It was bad that the staff made the line wait in pouring rain for 15-20 min past when doors were supposed to open. Event to me seemed oversold, standing room floor was extremely crowded. I’d rather pay more for an event that sold less tickets so I could actually stand and dance with my group instead of getting shoved around all the time. I was disappointed that the set list had country songs and what I would consider to be pop 2000s songs. I was hoping for more 90s rock songs, from Pearl Jam, Third Eye Blind, Goo Goo, Eve 6, RHCP, etc. I could have done without the Britney Spears, Backstreet, Shania Twain songs.
The 9:30 Club was packed, so clearly White Ford Bronco has a strong following. However, I have to say that I just didn't love it. I thought that the singers were mediocre. I didn't like men singing women's songs or vice versa. The Club kept us waiting outside in the rain quite a bit past when doors were supposed to open. Maybe I am just not a fan of cover bands, but I wouldn't see this band again. :(
