Back in the '60's, the down south kid's who grew up steeped in Blues, Gospel, Soul and the Brtish Invasion blues revival started to blend all of that with the musical attitudes and technologies of the West Coast rock scene, a sound that favored musicianship over show, the fluidity of jazz and the bite and posture of the blues, with seemingly psychic interplay.
