Wayne Newton is a singer and entertainer from Norfolk, Virginia. Over the course of his decades-long career, Newton has become synonymous with the glitz and glamor of the Strip, earning the nickname “Mr. Las Vegas.” Getting his start in the 1950s, the then-teen singer was mentored by superstars like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and Bobby Darin. Some of his best-known songs include “Danke Schoen,” “Red Roses for a Blue Lady” and “Daddy, Don’t You Walk So Fast.” By 1963, he had become a headliner at the Flamingo in Las Vegas and worked his way to being named the highest-grossing act in Sin City history. Through the 1990s, Newton headlined shows at Caesars Palace, MGM Grand Las Vegas and Bally’s before signing a 10-year contract in 1999 as the first-ever headliner-in-residence at the Stardust Resort and Casino — though the deal was cut short in 2005 as a result of the venue’s demolition. In 2016, Newton performed his lounge show Up Close & Personal at Bally’s, followed by his 2019 stint at Caesars Palace to celebrate his 60th year on stage. In 2024, Newton will embark on his Up Close and Personal Tour.?

As expected it's a nostalgia show. His voice is kind of gone, but the show was very entertaining. His wit and sense of style is all there. Glad to have seen him at least once.
We were enjoying the show when someone with a toddler started crying. For the love of it everything holy, DO NOT BRING YOUR MINOR CHILD TO AN ADULT SHOW. We paid good money to hear someone’s child screaming and crying. It was not the relaxing evening that I had wanted. Parents: please leave your minor children at home, it disrupts an adult show and truly made it uncomfortable. We were miserable and couldn’t heal this legend.
Wayne Newton was a terrific show. Very entertaining. The venue needs to work on a couple of things. While it is nice that food is available, the smell from the fish is awful and should not be an available option. Also Andiamo needs to handle the valet parking better. It is a clogged mess at the door and people where getting rude and nasty. This valet problem I have experienced at other shows as well.
Every one of Wayne's shows are fantastic. Not only full of singing, but so much history of his life. Great way to spend your evening. The show room is very small, not a bad seat in the house. I recommend this show to everyone. ??

I loved the wayne newton show! It brought back a nostalgia that I feel isn't around as much anymore! Wayne was Fun interactive and his stories were REMARKABLE! I am 27 and LOVED the show! So even if you're young... it's still so fun! I didn't know a lot of his songs but I LOVED hearing his stories and wisdom. Thank you wayne for such a great evening!
I would recommend seeing Wayne Newton. From the moment the band started to play and Wayne Newton took the stage, it was all the music that we remember, the iconic voice that we remember! He connects with the audience as friends who he has known all our lives. His respect to the military veterans was very touching. And did I mention that he just puts on a great show?! He had so many amazing stories and memories that he shared … He brought the Vegas magic! I would definitely go again.
Truly a wonderful experience. Wayne is a legend and his retrospective show highlights his illustrious career. Meeting him after the show was an amazing privilege. He is a gentleman, showman and genuinely good soul. Go see his show!!!
