Wayne Newton is a singer and entertainer from Norfolk, Virginia. Over the course of his decades-long career, Newton has become synonymous with the glitz and glamor of the Strip, earning the nickname “Mr. Las Vegas.” Getting his start in the 1950s, the then-teen singer was mentored by superstars like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and Bobby Darin. Some of his best-known songs include “Danke Schoen,” “Red Roses for a Blue Lady” and “Daddy, Don’t You Walk So Fast.” By 1963, he had become a headliner at the Flamingo in Las Vegas and worked his way to being named the highest-grossing act in Sin City history. Through the 1990s, Newton headlined shows at Caesars Palace, MGM Grand Las Vegas and Bally’s before signing a 10-year contract in 1999 as the first-ever headliner-in-residence at the Stardust Resort and Casino — though the deal was cut short in 2005 as a result of the venue’s demolition. In 2016, Newton performed his lounge show Up Close & Personal at Bally’s, followed by his 2019 stint at Caesars Palace to celebrate his 60th year on stage. In 2024, Newton will embark on his Up Close and Personal Tour.?

Great show! Terrific entertainer! Show was 2 hours and very entertaining
This guy is LEGIT!! He IS Mr. Las Vegas and an icon! He’s a sweetheart and puts on one HELL of a great show!! Do yourself a favor and go see him!
Lots of interesting information. Very talented individual. So sad however to hear his voice which has clearly deteriorated, I’m guessing because of being much overused and abused by his previous employers. The videos of old performances likely serve the purpose of allowing him to avoid further injury as well as add historical value. Also sad to see the effects of so many facial plastic surgeries . Nevertheless the performance was exceptional. He deserved the standing ovation for sure.
A fantastic review of Wayne Newton’s legendary career in show business, and well worth attending
Very good show, lots of history along with songs everyone knows. Wayne knows how to perform and what he has lost in voice quality he gains in telling his Vegas story!
What an exceptional night of music, stories, and Las Vegas history. Wayne’s charisma and charm are off the charts and his love of being on stage is still quite evident. I have seen this show twice because it is that good. Don’t pass an opportunity to see this living legend. What a treat it is to see him up close.
It’s a small house with an intimate feel. Wayne smiled and waved while I gawked like a fool. He also blew me a kiss when I cried during his rendition of “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. (It’s my wedding song.) He sounded wondferful and had a ton of energy. It’s and excellent show, and I highly recommend it!
What an amazing experience to get to see a piece of Las Vegas history! The theater is intimate and you feel like Wayne is so excited for you to be there. I’d definitely go back!
This was an incredible show. Wayne took us through the history of Vegas, his career and that of his deer friends. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a taste of old Las Vegas.
Wayne is aging obviously, we enjoyed the show and felt he and his wife did a great job of entertaining the crowd. His singing has diminished greatly. His ability to play his instruments is still up there. In the end we had a great time and it appeared Wayne did too!
What a career !!! Great performance. Didn't realize What I was missing. Living legend.
Great Night - Remembering a different time of Life - it was nice hearing Wayne Newton’s stories. It’s always great hearing positive stories of people who made this World a little bit better!
At 82, Wayne Newton is still the ultimate entertainer. He sings, he plays instruments, he tells stories. My only complaint was that our seats were not labeled obstructed view and our view was definitely obstructed by giant speakers on the left side of the stage. I even had to move my seat at one point to see the video clips that he was showing on a large screen behind him. Otherwise, great show and great entertainment.
This was one if the best shows I have seen in awhile. He was very entertaining and enjoyed every moment. Bad seats I chose 1,2 and 3 on aisle and they reversed seating not like layout was behind speakers couldn't see but didn't ruin my show I loved it
Wayne put on a very good show. The venue made things very uncomfortable . The seats were so close together that the person next to me was leg to leg. My wife and I felt uncomfortable and will never go to another concert at the casino.
Wayne Newton was very entertaining. I wish the seats were more comfortable and had some elevation and some booths.
Poor acoustics. Could not hear the singer only the band.
Very entertaining. Learned about his early days to present day and he can still sing at 82.
Outstanding. A memory maker. I went with my mother and two aunts. We enjoyed the show.
I saw Wayne Newton 17 years ago in Vegas. My tickets included a meet and greet. He gave you a great show than and did not disappoint at this show. I enjoyed this show for the history he shared with the audience. I learned allot about the man and the performer. He is a great performer and a humble man. My only complaint is that I wish they would do something about the seating at the Seminole Casino in Naples, first of all they are tight cramp, totally un-comfortable. The seats are on one level and if you happen to seat behind a tall person, you might as well just watch the monitor. If you happen to seat next to a large person expect to enjoy half a seat. You would think with all the money the Casino brings in they would take an initiative and turn the room into an actual theatre.
