Danish metal fusion act Volbeat has grown from a well-known regional band in Scandinavia to an international touring outfit sharing the bill with music giants Megadeth and Metallica. The four-piece group mixes metal, hard rock and a touch of punk with rock and roll inspiration from icons like Elvis, creating a well-liked combination that easily sells tickets. And when the Northern European performers aren’t in the recording studio, they’re tackling headlining concerts and taking part in the international festival circuit. ?Volbeat’s nearly decade-long discography boasts five studio albums, all of which have achieved at least gold status in their native Denmark. The band’s 2013 effort, “Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies,” marked the first collection to chart in the U.S. That set, which former Anthrax guitarist and new Volbeat member Robert Caggiano co-produced, made it to the top of Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart.

My Neighbor who is Danish asked me if I'd ever heard of the band "VOLBEAT"which I had not so I went home and Googled them and my God I was HOOKED! I've seen them 4 times so far and a 5th show was cancelled do to COVID! For anyone wanting to see a high energy balls out rock band go see Volbeat, you WON'T BE SORRY! Of course without Rob Gaggianos fast fingered lead guitar (recently left the band) but still worth the price of admission!

Excellent concert at a well done outdoor venue. It didn't feel too crowded or uncomfortable. It was easy to hear and fairly easy to see stage (unless people standing in front of you decide to block your view by holding up their phone and recording everything). Halestorm did a great job starting the concert and pumping up the energy. Lizzy Hale mentioned he PA roots and connected well with the audience while belting out her songs. Volbeat took stage and continued the momentum. Their lead singer was engaging and fun with the crowd. He's singing was great even though it was clear he had a bit of a cough that would come up in between songs. How he managed to suppress it during songs I'll never know. Partway through their set, it started pouring rain. Volbeat called it out and did their damndest to give a great show for everyone that stayed in the rain. Overall, concert was incredible and I'd definitely go again. If I had any complaints, it would be for the venue to take action if people are actively ruining the show for others by blocking views and recording (which frankly shouldn't be allowed anyway).
The whole experience was awesome. Halestorm rocked!!Lizzy is brilliant! Volbeat is amazing in person! They even played extra songs!
This concert was so amazing, but I wish we knew it was a 100% outdoor venue (on Ticketmaster, it said "No outdoor seating"which was misleading). I highly recommend this venue over the Hershey Stadium for concerts. Smaller crowd, seats are much closer to the stage. And to top it off, security was much smoother to go through, and considering it was a smaller venue, it was not packed as Hershey would. And the food trucks was a cherry on top. Highly recommend this to any concert goer!
Absolutely AMAZING. VOLBEAT is my absolute favorite band. I was so excited to finally be able to see them.and was definitely not disappointed.
Amazing first concert in almost 20 years. Volbeat and Halestorm threw a great performance. I only have one thing about the venue at ovation hall. If they are going to allow people to vape or light up, then everyone should be allowed to light up. Being packed in didnt bother me, just everyone smoking like they were at home.
Halestorm was excellent and Volbeat put on a great show plus the venue was good except they could give a little more space in the seating but I would see them both again and go to the venue again as well.
Wife and I simply ‘love’ halestorm & really like volbeat alot - so for us it wasnt a question of soould we it was where do we toronto CA or Hershey PA & neither disappointed great show
