The Cinderella was beautiful. Great dancing, costumes, scenery. Capital One Hall is also a great venue. Highly recommend and plan to see future performances from this company!
The ballet was well performed. However, it was too long-over 2-1/4 hours. The 2 intermissions could have been shorter. The seats could be on a higher slope so that a patron sitting in front does not obscure the center stage by their head. It was especially hard to see for shorter and younger patrons.
I thought the performance was above average. I felt like Cinderella did not capture me as a viewer and I was more excited to see the print stance. I also thought the staging could’ve been better to create better scenery illusion. I was also very sad to see Cinderella’s dress for the ball was not blue instead it was a fusion of beauty and the beast and sleeping beauty, pink and yellow. The best dressed and absolute best performance was the fairy godmother. Wow that costume was incredible.
What a beautiful Nutcracker performance! I loved seeing all ages participate and the lead dancers were beyond amazing. The costumes, props and stage were beautiful.
An amazing Nutcracker, definitely going to see it again this year. Capital One is a great venue, also.
Babies cry, they can't help it. But it was hard for me and probably the performers to listen to a baby cry for the entire performance. The parent moved from a front row seat to behind me and spent the entire first act and half of the second act trying to calm the baby down. I couldn't take it anymore; I left half-way through the second act. The Nutcracker is supposed to be fun and calming, I needed a drink afterwards. I'm starting to dislike this theatre; I feel like the ushers should have said something. The parent should have been considerate and took the baby to the lobby to calm, since the lobby would have been quiet.
