UPON A BURNING BODY IN CONCERT:
For nearly a decade, Texas-based metal outfit Upon a Burning Body has been shaking audiences to the core with their brutal sound, aggressive lyrics, and blistering live performances. Frontman Danny Leal is a commanding presence at the band's live shows, radiating savage intensity on hard-hitting tracks like "Scars" and "Sin City" while the band keeps pace with bludgeoning guitar, heavy bass, and pummeling drums. Whether they're performing cuts off 2014's The World Is My Enemy Now or having a little fun with their cover of Lil Jon's "Turn Down for What", Upon a Burning Body always treats fans to an adrenaline-filled and cathartic concert experience that will leave them thoroughly rocked.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Upon a Burning Body formed in San Antonio, TX in 2005 and released the Genocide EP that same year. They spent the next few years amassing a loyal following with extensive regional touring, and in 2010 they released their full-length debut album The World Is Ours. The record peaked at No. 28 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, introducing the band to a national audience and drawing them out on a coast to coast tour. They followed up in 2012 with their sophomore album Red. White. Green., a critically acclaimed release that topped the Heatseekers chart and landed at No. 11 on the Hard Rock chart. The band's rise continued in 2014 when their third album The World Is My Enemy Now cracked the Top 40 of the Billboard 200 -- a huge feat for a deathcore metal band. An electrifying live act known for their aggressive shows, Upon a Burning Body continues to blow minds on their must-see tours.

Upon a Burning Body was amazing and to be honest so were the opening bands! I loved it!
Loved the venue; great sound, good beer, a staff was amazing. The browning was just as good as I imagined, been waiting years to see them. Upon a burning body was also good, the energy was still there even after following the browning. If your into any of the bands on the line up it’s worth going.
They were amazing!! Pumped up the crowd for sure! Loved their energy and their performance!!?? Hope they come back again soon!
The entire show was incredible! Every single performance had so much energy that you could still feel it the next day. That on top of it being a smaller venue really gave you a more intimate feel. You felt closer to each performer! Upon A Burning Body killed it just like they always do!
These guys always put on such a great show fron beginning to end it's just insane energy. The drummer was in the moshpit. Just can't say enough good things about these guys. If you havent seen them yet, youre missing out.
UABB put on an amazing show! So glad venues like LoveDrafts support all kinds of acts. We drove 2 hrs to see this show and it was worth it!
Energy was through the roof, Danny’s crowd interaction was phenomenal, every members’ energy and aggression was on point. Highly recommend seeing them live, you won’t be disappointed!!
This show was gnarly for beginning to the end. every band brought great energy and Upon a burning body absolutely destroyed!
Going to see UABB is always a blast, and this show did not disappoint! They even decorated the stage and dressed in Christmas attire. They played a short-ish set, I think it was 12 songs, but they brought the energy as usual. I’m a fan for life!
