A great game and real treat to have the Badgers at MSG.
Great game and very reasonable prices...looking forward to next year's big 10 super saturday
great overtime win for wisconsin, exciting game for both sides
Have not seen a college hockey game at the good old Dane County Coliseum in 15+ years. It was great fun. Brought back great memories. Pretty good viewing throughout this facility. Beer garden was open and busy. Nice way to spend a Saturday night.
We had a great time in a very nice venue. Not only did the Badgers win, but the crowd was fun and into the game. The seating was comfortable, easily accessible and great view of the ice. Only negative is the concessions could have offered more choices.
Just like the good ole days! You can hear the pads popping, guys yelling for each other, not a bad seat in the place! It was a great night for hockey!
For the first time in 15 years the Badgers played at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum and without a doubt the crowd was as loud as I've ever heard for a Mens Hockey game. That being said, there was only 5,000 people in attendance 1/3 of what SHOULD be at the Kohl. A $24 ticket price matched by a last minute ticketing effort blew the chance for this to be an epic game. Coupled by Ticketmaster's enormous $8 a ticket fee, then a surcharge of $4 for the entire order made this one helluva expensive game in a beat down arena. You can find NHL tickets to Wild, Blues, and Red Wings at a better value in a better arena. Add the pre-poured beer in the beer garden at $7 a pop, c'mon this is Wisconsin and you pre-poured the beer into plastic cups? It's $6 for a 32 oz Molson at Joe Louis Arena. This should have been a 5 star event, with the classic hockey feel that can only come form an old arena, but it fell flat.
The game was fun, but it is really hard to see on the lower level.
It was a lot of fun to see a game in the coliseum. The seating isn't set up for it quite as well as the Kohl center, but it was a nice change of pace. Beer garden sucked: huge lines just to get a $7 Budweiser, and you couldn't take it back to your seat. Just wish the Badgers would have won on Friday.
Great time with great friends! Brought back many memories from years past.
