University of Illinois Fighting Illini Football Tickets

Parking too expensive. Need more food trucks then two. We waited 45 minuets for our food.

Loved it. The price of drinks and food was extreme but that is to be expected at these venues.

I was so embarrassed by the attendance as well as the performance of the University of Illinois football team that it will be a very long time before I ever attend a game again. Texas high school football games are better- attended than this, and the quality of play is better.

Game and venue was great. Ticketmaster charged is $50 in taxes and fees on my $90 purchase. Seriously!

Soldier field had low fan turnout for college game day with 2 local big ten teams in the state. Most of Soldier field concession stands ran out of hot chocolate. Soldier field didn't bother to color the field with either teams logos. Decent game even though the Illini lost, wasn't worth the price of tickets on ticketmaster, should have got the tickets deal from groupon...

It was a fun game and a small but spirited crowd. I would give it five stars but we paid $49 (ouch) to park. Really? Tickets were on sale 2 for the price of 1 the day before the game. You would think parking would be cheaper. We paid $80 a seat. It is an expensive day out with parking. The bathrooms lines seemed unnecessarily long for the size of the crowd. The game itself was fun.

A couple of weeks after I bought the tickets at full price, they became available at 2 for 1. The section where our seats were located wasn't even open for this event, so we sat a block further forward (Block 341) which had a very good view. Even though it was a really cold day, the food kiosks we found weren't selling hot drinks. There were guys bringing round "hot" chocolate, which was in reality a very disappointing lukewarm chocolate. With the lack of anything to make us feel any warmer (and with it having taken 2hrs45min to get through 45 minutes of play) we left after the 3rd quarter. This was our first live football experience, I'm glad we did it, but we won't be in a rush to do it again.

Sat in sec 101, Great seats right above the illini tunnel! It was cold but my dad & I had a great time!

This was a fun afternoon with a lot of good-natured rivalry. Where was everyone, though? When we bought tickets on Ticketmaster, there were so few choices we thought the stadium would be packed. Yet, it was not even half full. I felt like a chump, paying dearly for seats in a half-empty stadium.

The pre game atmosphere and celebration was great. Our seats were also very good. Soldier Field needs to be redesigned to allow for better access to all levels and sides of the stadium. You have to walk all the way down to the first level to access the other side of the stradium.
