University of Denver Pioneer Hockey Tickets

Great game. Good to see a college game and the crowd was fabulous. Should try to have more games here. We are z big hockey area and giving the fan’s exposure to all level of the sport is great. This gives the population the experience of college level sports as well as making it available to public with a good price. Hopefully this could be something that we can do like we do for high school exposing every family the opportunity to see this sport .

The game between the Denver Pioneers and the Colorado College Tigers was the largest crowd to ever see a college hockey game in Colorado. Great atmosphere, great game, unforgettable night. I’ve been a season ticket holder to DU hockey for 20 years and this was as epic of a night as I’ve ever experienced. A+

If you are tired of paying good money to see the Avs get beat, might I strongly recommend a DU/WCHA NCAA hockey playoff game instead? Magness Arena is a delightful mid-size facility with friendly and inexpensive concessions, immediately adjacent to I-25 with inexpensive parking nearby, the kind of place where I got the feeling that our $30 seats made us special to their staff. Our seats were right against the glass behind the bench, which made for some amazing action and a close-up of the interaction between their players and their coaching staff on the bench. The first two periods were kind of slow but the Pioneers came alive in the 3rd period and mauled poor Minnesota State, 4-2 was the final. After the fun that we had this past Friday night, I am considering the possibility of buying season tickets for DU for next season or perhaps a multi-game package, if one is available. I would heartily recommend attending a DU hockey game if you haven't done so already.

The game was great and the atmosphere was positive but the seating was not that good. For being in a small arena like that if you are not sitting between the blue lines it is better off to sit in at the ends because the corners don't have a very good view when the people beside block your view

DU hockey games are always exciting and well worth the money!!

This was to be a great hockey match up, however due to a couple of drunken, rude fans, whom I asked to be removed, made this the worst time of me and my son's life. We were harrassed and threatened by the Denver University fans.

I attended a hockey game on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 at the Magness Arena at the University of Denver. This is an excellent 6000 seat facility with nice amentities. The game against Michigan Tech was excellent. Denver won 5 -1. The game even featured an incredible 194 foot, length-of-the-ice, shorthanded goal by Denver in the 2nd Period. It was said that this goal was the longest shorthanded goal in hockey history.

Very good game, excellent seats, great price. Can't wait to go again.

The DU Hockey game saturday night against CC was just a great hockey game. Lots of action and good hockey. Sitting in section 14 close to the student section was so much fun, the energy level is great and the students are very entertaining.
