Twin Temple and VOWWS put on killer shows. Great songs, highly entertaining. Definitely will see them both again.
I only recently heard of Twin Temple, and I was beyond impressed by their performance. Incredible music, riveting stage presence, and mesmerizing vocals. I'm already excited to see when they'll be coming through the area again.
They looked great and sounded great! They were interactive with the audience and put on a hell of a show.
Twin Temple is a fun time out with a new twist on classic music from a bygone era. The band puts on a fun show for one of the most inclusive and fun loving crowds you’ll ever find.
10/10 so entertaining! Absolutely incredible show.
From the opening processional to the final ritual, Twin Temple puts on a captivating show that is sure to enthrall and thrill you. Alexandra and Zachary’s chemistry on stage would make a pharmacist jealous and the joy they have for performing and music comes across as bright and shiny as their rhinestone costumes. They inject a healthy dose of pink into the normally dark and moody scene. But more than just a candy colored spectacle of evil, there is an underlying message of the human right to bodily autonomy that runs through the performance that turns it from just another show into an act of joyous rebellion. Lyrics like “Be a Slut/Do what you want”, “I am a Witch, I turn to Satan/I don’t have sex for procreation”, and the mid-song testimony/love confession “Church and State just don’t seem to know a thing” bring a sharp critique to cultural norms and express the freedom of deviancy. Which is punctuated with Alexandra’s ritualistic stabbing of a life-like rubber baby to close the show, replacing the dagger and cup of previous tours. This is Twin Temple’s body of work, and it’s their choice.
Twin Temple really knows how to throw a show. The support was great and the entire show was a blast.
Fantastic show, great crowd and very entertaining performance! Really glad they stopped here in minneapolis / varsity theater was an amazing venue!
Campy musical style meets live satanic ritual, performed by atheists. Absolutely incredible time.
