Great Show, thought it would be INSIDE the Coliseum, but was out front. Security was tight, and there was a lot of staff (including Insomniac Staff) to help w people who partied a little too hard. One thing though, about the Coliseum, no vapes were aloud. Not a huge deal, but weird, considering it does no harm to anyone, not even though user, but hey its California. ugh.
Awesome show. Way easier entrance. I think it just needed more snacks
Performance was great. Stage was a little bit underwhelming.
He is dope ??????. The show was very fun for me and my husband so enjoyed it.
Went to see timmy trumpet with my wife and lined up at the venue about 30 minutes before doors. It was raining lightly on and off but we had brought a collapsible umbrella and were able to take it into the venue. Security at ID check also had a small awning and decent lighting. ID check started about 10 minutes before doors to get the first batch of people to the security line. Security is very very thorough and despite us being the 5th person in line for our particular security line it took about 15 minutes. Full pat down and wanding and bag check complete with wallet inspection. I'm positive that this is necessary given the 18+ edm shows and distance relation to San jose state. The crowd verred pretty young for timmy trumpet. For the venue it has a decent floor area that earlier in the night was easy to dance on but by headliner was pretty packed. They have a water station in the smoking area but it can be difficult to navigate the main floor crowd to access, you can take the hallways around but it takes a bit longer. We snagged seats on the floor on the restroom and bar side and parked it for the night. Seating was padded but leg room was lacking cup holders on seats as well which was nice. Security was present inside the venue as were medical personnel, I didn't see any altercations but did see security periodically walk the floor, shine lights to get people off shoulder rides, as well as come into the general seating to check on people. Sound was pretty decent, reccomend earplugs. Visuals on screens were pretty good but can vary from artist to artist, they have a large screen behind the stage as well as two very large monitors displaying the visuals and camera feed as well. Lighting was good though a fair use of strobe effects and 0 lasers at this particular show. Nearby parking in the convention center 24h garage was only $15, but we had showed up about 2 hours ahead of time and had dinner at original joes which was right down the street from san jose civic. Car was safe and sound upon retrieval which is always nice.
Timmy is a true showman. Great show, great energy,
I traveled from Florida to DC to see Timmy since he had no event in Florida. I would do it again 100 times more because it has been one of the best parties I have ever had. Timmy is a superstar and as such was his performance.
I have always listened to EDM and never been able to go see one of my favorite DJ's out there. Loved the experience and energy that Timmy gives to the crowd and would definitely go see him again in the future if he returns to DC.
Timmy trumpet was great and the echostage is a good venue.
