THIEVERY CORPORATION IN CONCERT:
Lounge and electronica collective Thievery Corporation capture the sleek sounds of the international set with their chilled-out beats, worldly sonic palette, and lush synthscapes. Their mesmerizing and eclectic mix of bossa nova, acid jazz, trip hop, and a host of other genres had crate-diggers drooling with jealousy between sets at their 2013 shows, reminding fans just why they're one of downtempo's most beloved acts. With a highly anticipated new album due out in 2014, Thievery Corporation are set to blow minds once again on their upcoming North American tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Washington, DC's Rob Garza and Eric Hilton formed Thievery Corporation in 1995 as an outlet for their shared love of acid jazz, dub reggae, and Brazilian musical traditions. Using Hilton's Eighteenth Street Lounge as a base of operations, their early mixing sessions were a huge success, resulting in their 1997 debut album Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi. While the album was a minor success, it was their second record, The Mirror Conspiracy, that really put them on the map, led by the sweltering single "Lebanese Blond." Since then, they have continued to pioneer new directions in downtempo, headlining some of the world's biggest festivals and establishing themselves as legends of the genre.?
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"So talented and entertaining. Definitely worth seeing them live again soon."
"Absolutely rocked the place. Collaboration of old tunes with new and energetic stuff made it so special and enjoyable. The place was jamming! Loved it!"
"This is the third time I've seen Thievery Corporation and I must say they are one of the BEST live acts I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. If you have not seen them live you are doing yourself a horrible disservice."

Great show and great venue. Saw them at the Sylvee and sat in balcony, first row. The sound was terrific. The band was on top of their game - entertaining and fun!
Ya'll keep up the good work ???.......................................... . .........................
The best thievery show I’ve ever seen. I was able to be up front and it was exquisite. I even got a guitar pick from the one and only Rob Garza. So dope
First time seeing Thievery Corporation live and first time at Outset. The venue is well planned out and the staff was fantastic. Thievery Corporation sounds great live and the show was engaging and fun.
Great live band, filled with diverse types of music! The venue was really nice and intimate too!!!
I just recently learned of TC because my date is a fan. I enjoyed this concert. I loved the energy that they give off. Loved the vibes. I feel the DJ could have been up less seeing as though they started late and we were standing, but overall they have a new fan and I’d see them again.
Thievery Corporation at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on wonderful summer night... simply Excellent!
Less hassle parking at the Greek vs the Bowl and if I may suggest, pay extra for Terrace Seating, TOTALLY worth it!
From the time they hit the stage to the end of the show Thievery Corporation has the audience on their feet dancing and feeling the groove. With the different singers rotating in and out keeps the pace of the set moving. The mighty Raquel Jones commands the stage with her presence and vocals.
