TWB rocks. Even though it was a rainy, Monday night, Jake/Chris/Gene got everyone rocking.
Jake’s voice and the energy he brings to shows will keep type going back to more of his shows!
Band completely rocked the place. Small venue put us right in the music amazing. Opening act kicked ass as well
The music was good but the band got on stage two hours after doors opened. The space wasn't too packed.
He held a rowdy Saturday night crowd in the palm of his hand. Jake and his drummer and multi instrumentalist made for a powerful trio; easily moving from raucous to tender , sometimes in the same song.
Venue sounded great for The White Buffalo concert. Things that need improvement Parking is very challenging to find open spots. Drinks are definitely over priced. Getting in the venue for security check could be alot faster. The security people should be using the wand to check on people outside the venue that way there won’t be a big delay at the front doors to enter in.
The performance was great. I felt lucky to see the first show on the tour before they started getting tired. The venue was very small and friendly, however sound wasn't necessarily the greatest. He was very personably with the other band members and audience while on stage. Also played a wide range of new and old which I appreciated.
We discovered this artist about 4 years ago and then COVID hit. The tours have not come anywhere near us and he/they did not disappoint! So good live. For a band with a lot of "sleepy" hits, the energy was great. We love the Varsity and I am now a Myron Elkins fan to boot!
In a time where we live in a world dominated by mind numbing plethora of garbage they call "music," we are blessed with the likes of The White Buffalo. Finding bands like this these days is like discovering a needle in a haystack. That needle is made of 24K gold. From the music, the lyrics, the delivery, and the technical abilities of the band members, The White Buffalo is a full experience loved and cherished by those who value it as it should be. To be able to see them in such a small and intimate setting as The Observatory in Orange County made it even better. While the sound of the venue was not the greatest, it was still an amazing experience.
These guy la straight up ROCK! The drummer is off the chains! I think he broke 3-4 sticks during the set and just tossed them aside and grabbed another one. Just a great rock sound with a few ballads as well. Great band, good venue, good food. Win win win!
