Great night. Some old songs, some new tunes, some memories brought back to life for one night only.
A fine-tuned Band playing classic tunes and iconic new material in the roots music fashion, glad to see them "Keeping it Goin"
Great night of music at one of America’s great venues. It was good to see Poughkeepsie come alive again after years of decline. Larry & Teresa came on at 7:30 with a mixture of old and new music and a few covers. Thoroughly enjoyable. They were joined by Brian Mitchell. From The Weight Band on keyboards and accordion plus Jim Weider for the final number Chest Fever which brought down the house. After a short intermission The Weight Band came on and opened with Two Band tunes before mixing in some covers from others and their own material. Then they brought on L&T for a couple of numbers and then added their backing musicians for a rousing finale. Show ended just shy of 11:30. We’ll worth the 2 hour drive
What a great show. The bands were great and the venue was such an intimate experience!!
It started off with Larry and Teresa who were just fantastic the playing the songs it was out of this world. The weight band wonderful they sound so much like the real band, songs from their new album are great . If you have a chance to see them go run buy tickets
Love the Bardavon. Four hours of spectacular music from Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams and The Weight Band. They played to exhaustion and I loved every minute of it.
I enjoyed my evening and the show was just what I needed. I loved the melding of the members and the fantastic solos. My favorite part about the night was everyone singing along to the songs! Wonderful Band! I sent out a text to my CT friends to check them out in November!
band still has it, does it, all! great beat, great musicians, great voices, great time!
We were expecting a local cover band and were blown away by THE WEIGHT! Never imagined we were in for such a tight and together group of professionals, but of course these gentlemen were ALL through musicians, with each having their own unique sound and vocals which, to me and my friend, MADE THEM REALLY SPECIAL! Will see them anytime they come around our way, and spread the word on how great they are. Thanks so much for keeping THE BAND alive guys! Sincerely, Sandra Ferrigno
This was a great show!! A mix of original songs and songs from "The Band". They are all excellent musicians as well!! If you have the opportunity to see The Weight, take it!!
