After a 4-year hiatus, indie stalwarts The Walters return in full force amid the widespread success of their viral hit “I Love You So” on TikTok and DSPs, signing to Warner Records and announcing their first three headline shows since 2017. Hailing from Chicago, The Walters artfully intersect clever songwriting, catchy hooks, and soundtrack-worthy instrumentation steeped in a bit of a magic. Listeners first fell under the spell of the Chicago quintet—Luke Olson[lead vocals, guitar], Walter Kosner[lead guitar], MJ Tirabassi[rhythm guitar, vocals], Danny Wells[bass], and Charlie Ekhaus[drums]—when they independently released 2014’s Songs For DadsEP. Among many highlights, “Fancy Shoes”generated 30 million streams with “New Girl (Tom’s Song)” and “Life” on its heels. 2015’s Young Menonly maintained the group’s momentum as they attracted an impassioned and dedicated fan base. They captivated crowds in hallowed venues across their hometown such as The Metro, performed atRiot Fest, and left the audience amazed at Lollapalooza2017. Following the latter, their paths diverged during a mutual hiatus. In early 2021, the musicians reconnected and started plotting their return when the viral success of “I Love You So” accelerated their timeline. The song has swept across TikTok with over 270K fan-created videos. A standout from 2014’s Songs For Dads, its success overwhelmingly translated to DSPS, reeling in north of 133 million streams on Spotify and scaling the Global Top 50, currently at #40 and climbing, as well as #45 in the US Spotify Top 50. Signing to Warner Records, The Walters launch a new era in 2021 with their first shows in four years and plans for more music to come.

I had the best time!! They played all of my favorites and kept a fun, lively mood the entire night! this was my first concert, and was one of the best things I’ve ever experienced!! would definitely go again :)
the walkers had such a good stage presence and it was such a good experience. the crowd was lively and fun but a little too violent at times.
I bought these tickets for my brothers 16th birthday and it was also his first concert ever and I’m so so happy we went! It truly was an amazing first experience for him and the venue was so perfect! The opening act was also so good and I’m currently added their songs to my playlist. Truly great music, great atmosphere and great concert overall, I couldn’t ask for much better than that!.
I LOVE YOU SOOOOOO ??BEST CONCERT EVER I BEEN TOO??
Really a great concert, was super pumped to finally be able to see them (been a fan since 2018ish)
The lead singer was very arrogant. Unfortunately, by the end of the night, I liked the band less than when I did before because of the cockiness of the lead singer. He was shaking his butt in a weird excessive way, which I feel like is counter to the integrity and vibe of their music.
I couldn’t believe I got to the mosh pit for the concert it was a night to remember, we were so close to the stage!! Best performance!
When I walked into the venue, it was very clean and fresh. I really liked the elevated floors because it gave everyone an opportunity to see the performers.
had so much fun cried off all my makeup singing and dancing. they played all their songs and were so energetic cant wait to see them again in a week!!!
