Even Jacob Dylan asked if the sound was too loud. The opening act dude seemed to be laying down a whole lot of backwoods wisdom but I couldn't understand a single word coming out of his mouth. Thought the sound booth would get it dialed in before the main event but, nope. Finally I went to the sound booth and told one guy it was too loud. He just smiled. Probably couldn't hear me. Too loud, too much boomy bass, and the keyboards were barely audible. Is it the room acoustics, or the sound booth? So in the end, all I got was the T-Shirt.
Band was awesome! Sound engineers should be fired , completely botched the sound
This was a good show, but it would have been excellent had the drums been turned down. They were way TOO LOUD, and they drowned out Jakob's voice. If you weren't familiar with a song, then it was impossible to understand the lyrics. My wife was not familiar with the material, and she understood nothing that was sung. Dylan was engaging, and his voice has aged nicely. It was a shame we couldn't hear more of his voice due to the drum overkill! Moral of the story...don't make the drummer your Musical Director!!!!!
Great show! Awesome venue! This will sound odd, but Jakob Dylan seems to be a really nice guy. He definitely made a point to let everyone know how much he appreciates the band, the venue, the audience, the opening act, and even the stage hand.
Probably the one bad thing was that Jakob Dylan's voice was buried a bit in the mix, so the vocal melodies didn't ride up like they should. There were times when it took me a bit to realize which song they were playing because of this. But great performances all around, and the three covers in the encore were all well chosen (Cat Stevens' "Wild World"and two Tom Petty songs.)
I will spend $ to see the Wallflowers again, next chance I get.
Left early due to very loud music. Music so loud you could not understand any of the word.
The show was AWESOME!! They did not disappoint!! My husband and I had a wonderful time!! The Wallflowers ROCK!! ??
Great venue and great show by the wallflowers I’d definitely see them again
