There are no words. Just go see them. One of the best live bands going today.
Love The Parlor Mob! They are so talented, and I was so happy to see them again for only $5. They are going to become big REALLY soon.
Easy fast entry, sat stage left...sound was great. Opening band sucked, but The Parlor Mob rocked The Basements foundation!!!!! Very memorable show, my daughter and I enjoyed it very much. Parlor Mob needs MORE MERCH! I would have spent lots of $ buying girls sized shirts with a smaller logo. I would have bought a signed LP...the line was HUGE! Thanks for a great time!
This was a set of three bands, each 45 minutes long, followed by a 15 minutes hiatus for the reorganization of the stage. All performers were great. They gave a good effort and were memorable. However, as The Parlor Mob were the main theme for the evening, the fact that they only played 45 minutes was too little. Heck, they have 2 full albums; they could and should have played longer.
A quick hit & run this time from a gr8 band...although it didn't measure up to their performance at the Stone Pony, still packed in alot of gr8 quality sound in the SHORT set (8 songs i think) they played....I was kinda surprised they didnt do "Believers" Lead guitarist blew my eardrums out with his rippn quitar,.. the venue i think was a bit beneath them...I still look forward to catchn this band AGAIN! hopefully in the very near future at a better venue, with a longer set!
Awesome show, venue, atmosphere, and of course, band.
Their new album is incredible! Gr8 live performance, sound and overwhelming chemistry! The Parlor Mob reminds me of Zeppelin, Black Crows, The White Stripes, with even a hint of Carlos Santana! I would see these guys again in a New York minute! And will be looking fwd to their next performance...
The Parlor Mob were amazing, no other band like them, opening acts were great.
I could not have been happier with the show at the Pony. The Mob played the perfect blend of "And You Were A Crow" songs and new jams. The new songs sound fantastic - real heavy riffs and the usual great vocals from Mark Melicia. I highly suggest seeing them live - the energy they bring to the stage is unmatched, in my opinion. You won't see a more talented band for a cheap price in a small venue like the Pony. I've been listening to these guys for a number of years and they are too talented and make music too good to go away any time soon. I hope I can grab a ticket when they eventually sell out the Garden. p.s. You can see from the pic that I was right up front - I got the set list from the sound guy, which has a bunch of the new song titles on it (check 'em out!).
