About
The Panhandlers are a country supergroup from West Texas. The band’s lineup includes Josh Abbott of the Josh Abbott Band, John Baumann, William Clark Green, and Cleto Cordero of Flatland Cavalry. The Panhandlers released their self-titled debut album in 2020 containing singles “Cactus Flower,” “No Handle” and “This Flatland Life.” Their sophomore effort, Tough Country, arrived in 2023 and featured a number of songs previously released on the quartet’s 2022 EP West Texas Is The Best Texas.

Each of the leads are amazing in their own groups and their joined efforts in The Panhandlers is simply magic to see on stage. I can't help but feel that this project will be looked back on with reverence in the same vein as The Highwaymen, a Mount Rushmore of talent.

So when these Texas songwriters' spun-out this side project, I was STOKED to know that Cleto Cordero was involved!! I've been jamming The Panhadlers since their debut album surfaced and I've waited for this concert for a LONG TIME...they certainly DID NOT disappoint. The range of this performance, from rowdy to tear-jerking, was INCREDIBLE!!! I hope these guys continue with this side project outside of their regular gigs, because I'm HOOKED FOR LIFE! Thank you, Panhandlers, for an AMAZING show and unforgettable experience!!
