The museum is fantastic. It is like time traveling back to 1969. Much information and actual artifacts from the music festival. The hippie bus and movies are a must see. The tour of the grounds is also very interesting. Definitely “far out” as we used to say in the ‘60s! I rate it ten stars!! ????????

The venue is well organized and every detail is well thought out from the Green Room pre-concert experience to the availability of ADA transportation after the show. Vendors along the walk to our seats were amazing. I would have liked to see a Museum Store vendor along with the concessions right by our seats. I could have sure used a place to buy a sweatshirt or blanket when the temps dropped down to 50!!

We had a great visit and loved reading the history and seeing all of the videos, pictures and artifacts. The video offerings were excellent (and included CC which was very appreciated). We felt like we gained a better understanding of the social tensions of the time and the massiveness of the event. It was unfortunate that the listening stations featuring music selections had broken headsets that were really beat up and kind of nasty. I joked that they were original to the event. Otherwise, it was a very fun stop!

Enjoyed going back into time and recapture the Woodstock concert experience. I was 12 at the time it happen so I knew about the concert but wasn't able to attend. Found out many interesting facts about how it all went down. Loved all the video clips from the residents, the artists, the organizers. Only wish that there wasn't a performance that evening. Would have liked to toured the area where the concert occurred. A must trip for anyone who enjoyed the music of that era.
Took the opportunity to visit the 1969 Woodstock site. Loving music and understanding the cultural importance of this festival mad it a must visit place on out holiday to NY, and it didn't disappoint. The museum is jammed full of information and exhibits not just from the festival but delving in to the political climate at the time and contributing to paint the bigger picture of what created those magical 3 days. If you have any interest in music and want to experience what it was like then this place is amazing. Going down to the memorial and looking back up that field where all those people watched and experienced the event gave me goose bumps. Go visit, then watch the movie afterwards in the hotel room, it put a whole new perspective on everything. Peace.
This was my second visit to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts to see James Taylor and his All Star Band and AS ALWAYS, it was a WONDERFUL SHOW!! I’ve seen James more times than I can count, and I have never been disappointed! The setting and music shed at Bethel Woods is beautiful too! And the museum a great experience! My only complaint is the: exiting the Center after concerts. The congestion is significant and is due to the limited ways to exit. We concert goers would appreciate some improvements based on queue theory and efficiency. But overall, it was an absolutely wonderful experience and the weather in June 28th absolutely beautiful!
Spending the day at Bethel, reminiscing was delightful. It’s my second visit and I brought along a first time visitor. It’s my hope that prior to my third visit (definitely some time from now into the future) that the acoustics and volume in the mini theatre setting drastically improve. We felt that the cost of lunch was very excessive, pack your own and enjoy a picnic!
Outstanding portrayal not only of the Woodstock music festival, but all the significant events of The Sixties leading up to the moment! With films, music and interactive exhibits, it’s not to be missed!
What a great experience. The museum is well done and fun to experience. Very cool to look out unto the famous field and hill and imagine what it must have been like in 1969. An icon of our era.
The Woodstock grounds are beautiful in a country setting. The buildings are enormous to accommodate the many events that take place there. The museum is exceptional and was well worth the $ to enter. It takes you back in time to an era never to be seen again . There are many videos playing throughout and there are the flowered bus and beetle to reminisce over. Very nice visit and greatly recommended

This is a great tribute to the sixties. Not only does it show the concert, it immerses you in the activities and societal issues leading up to it. Woodstock was a turning point for so many people and it can show those who were not present in that period how people in the 60's felt and what they were dealing with. To have such a great experience was what the country needed. This was not just a museum but a testament to everything 60's.
We had such a great time at the museum. Loved the history and exhibits. The videos and music brought back so many memories. Will go again!

this place is aboslutely amazing, it captured every little detail and how much woodstock made an impact on our country. I went with my father, a man who never sheds a tear, I caught him multiple times getting choked up with a few tears rolling down his cheek. It reminded him of his youth and the better days. I myself even shed some tears watching the 20 min movie they had. It was truly an experience I will never forget especially getting to share it with my dad.
A must visit destination if you grew up in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Brings you back to the best music and times. Peace, Love, Dove.
Interesting tomter both inside and outside. Gard to imagen all the people WHO were there. The film in the end was Interesting.
