The Mallett Brothers Band is an independent rock and roll / Americana / country band from Maine. Their busy tour schedule since forming in 2009 has helped them to build a dedicated fanbase across the U.S. and beyond while still calling the state of Maine their home. With a style that ranges from alt-country to Americana, country, jam and roots rock, theirs is a musical melting pot that's influenced equally by the singer/songwriter tradition as by harder rock, classic country and psychedelic sounds.
Super fun night at the State Theatre! This is the 2nd recent event there that I couldn’t hear the melody, violin, or lyrics from the floor or balcony—we tried both areas. A lot of fun—but the music had too much bass and drums. I wonder if the State does the sound check, or the bands themselves?
Great show and a bonus that Dave Gutter opened! Mallet Brothers have a great sound and chemistry
Loved the show at the State Theater in Portland. Perfect venue for the show. Having seen TMBB on previous occasions I sorta had some expectations. The music was familiar but they were much more jam band like which made for a really fun show. Seems everyone loved the fiddle player.

TMBB are an amazing band. Great lyrics, fantastic chemistry on stage and with the audience. It feeds my soul every time I hear them. Rock, blues, country, folk fusion talking risks and enjoying life. Great mix of tight and loose! The rhythms and chords are so resonant with body and soul vibrations. Fantastic crowd following. Huge shout outs to the sound crew at the State Theatre!
Both The Mallet Brothers Band and Toughcats were amazing! They are so much fun on stage and the music and talent are top notch!
These guys can out on a show! From the early band Adam Ezra, also awesome, first time we had seen him to the very last song from the Mallett Brothers with all the special guests, this was a night to remember. Bringing in their Dad and sister, along with Andrew's sisters was something special. Everyone needs to see these guys, they play a variety and really get the crowd going.

These guys are phenomenal. There are few groups that really have it all: strong vocals (both brothers and Wally), incredible guitar (including slide) and fiddle and compelling lyrics and jams. High energy and incredibly talented and tight. I would recommend seeing them to anyone - no matter what music you like but definitely roots/country rock.. They have it all.
What a treat Saturday night was. Alway a good time at a Mallett Bros show, but this one was a treat with the whole family participating. The crew was super nice to our kids too, they were both wearing Mallett Bros. hats and they were both given souvenirs and taken back stage. They will never forget it. Thank you and see you next time!!!
