Ben Brantley of The New York Times calls THE LEHMAN TRILOGY "a ticket worth cashing in your gilt-edged securities for. Behold it with wonder, humble theatergoer." This New York Times Critic's Pick comes to Broadway direct from three sold-out engagements at the National Theatre, the Park Avenue Armory and London's West End. Directed by Academy Award?, Tony? and Golden Globe? winner Sam Mendes, THE LEHMAN TRILOGY follows three brothers from their arrival in America in search of a new life, to the collapse of the firm they established, to the resulting financial crisis — the largest in history. The New York Post calls THE LEHMAN TRILOGY "the must-see event of the year," adding, "It is epic in every conceivable way. You dare not miss it. Do anything you can to get a ticket." As The Wall Street Journal says, "You should crawl across broken glass to see it."

while I believe that the staging was more effective in the vast expanse of the armory, it was effective still in the confines of the proscenium theater on Broadway. The acting is superb and the writing equally so. It is about the rise and recreation of business in America and it works. The final moments that deal with the collapse are the least effective ---it is as if they were tacked on as a cursory morality lesson. It is tragic that the production has been halted because of panic about viral spread. Hopefully this and all the other cultural productions will survive
It was stunning! The most innovative play I've ever seen.
We saw The Lehman Trilogy on the evening of March 11, 2020, the last night before Broadway shuttered itself to help contain the coronavirus. We feel so lucky we were able to see it. The three actors are unbelievable. When the show is up and running again, please get yourself a ticket. You won't be sorry.
A fascinating American story, told by three brilliant actors who are totally convincing even when changing roles. The story is helped by one of the most innovati9ve stagings I've ever seen, inventive also by its simplicity. The musical accompaniment is a wonderful but unintrusive presence, solidifying the adaptation of the narrative to theater in the manner of an old-time silent film.
Amazing story and script presented by great actors. Unforgettable experience.
The Lehman Trilogy is a wonderful theatrical experience. The three actors are amazing as they play Lehman family members varying ages, genders, and backgrounds. The set was creative, the theatre's sightlines good, and the play so engaging that its three hours flew by. What was an interesting addition for me was holding a "real paper ticket" that had come through the mail!
This show was riveting! The acting masterful! I didn’t expect to love this show and it was sooo good. It was about history, about family, about everything you wouldn’t expect about thus play.
