Loved how we didn't have to wait a long period of time before the next Group performed.
We're huge fans of the Chi-lites. Seen 'em many many times in many venues and states. This time it was not great. The audio was messed up and the DJ was louder than the singers, the drums were not mic'd well, overall almost everyone sounded pretty awful... we had great seats, too. This crowd was pretty rowdy and we're all for having fun but we were surprised that more than one fight broke out. I'd buy tickets to see them again, but maybe not in a festival like setting with several artists again, orrrr maybe not at the Toyota Arena.
Artist were outstanding. Many are my classic favorites. But there were too many acts - or the show which ran 4 hours - needed a formal intermission. But the biggest disappointment was the sound. At first it as quite good. But it got worse and worse as the show continued. It became painfully loud. The music track became so overpowering that I could see the singers singing on the video screens but couldn’t hear a word from them. By the last act the sound was so bad and so overly loud that I’ve had to leave early.
I Expected Each Great BAND To Come Out ON Stage And Be Able To PERFORM MORE Of THEIR GREATEST HITS, BUT Instead It SEEMS That They Were ONLY ALLOWED To Perform A LIMITED Number Of THEIR HIT SONGS. It Was Good, BUT At The Same Time I FELT CHEATED NOT To HEAR MORE OF THEIR HIT SONGS.
One of the best concerts in a long time, excellent line up and amazing Djs
The groups were amazing and seating is great, BUT there was too much walking and movement where we couldn’t enjoy the show. But however the show was amazing .
That concert was off the hook ?? All the performances were on point?? I look forward to the next oldies concert??
It’s so wonderful to hear the music of my favorite times of growing up in the fifty’s and sixty’s
Easy and quick getting in the concert highly recommend
