The Breeders Tickets

Me and wife, first time at the "new"Uptown for a show. The space is great, easy to get a drink, and the rest of the facility was very good. We stood on the floor and the stage was high enough for my wife to be able to see pretty good. We saw the Breeders the last time they were in town (at 1st Ave), and this show was much better, they were more engaged and had more energy. I also realize the degree of difficulty is higher when playing entire albums (so songs you would never play live), and I was amazed how they pulled that off. The Pixies song at end topped the event off nicely.

This concert involved traveling from Tucson to Chicago to see The Breeders as a birthday gift to my daughter who turned 14 a few days before the concert. She had discovered their music last year while watching the show, Resident Alien and fell in love with the music of The Breeders (proving once again that she truly is my child!). We both simply loved the show. I was delighted to hear all of "Pod", their debut LP, and we were both bowled over at how precisely they performed all of "Last Splash". Kim and Kelley's banter was sweet in recalling the actual recording of the class LP. My daughter summed it up perfectly as she turned to me afterward and said, "I love The Breeders even more now that I've seen them live!"

I loved the sisters and band and was delighted by my first visit to the Uptown Theater as a music venue. We upgraded to balcony seas and the views and service were fantastic.

Kim Deal is the queen of my world. Can’t believe what an amazing show this was. Venue staff was excellent.

The last show of the Breeders 30th anniversary of Last Splash was better than I could imagine. The Paramount in Seattle is an amazing old theater with a lot of character and great atmosphere and sound. The band was powerful and energetic, the audience was excited and in awe. I still can’t believe the Breeders rock as hard as they did 30 years ago. I hope they tour again soon.

A performance that exemplifies why great music cannot fully be captured by recording - it must be experienced live.

So great to see both bands. Had never actually seen The Breeders. Had seen Belly when I was in college at UofAZ, back in 1993. The Observatory in North Park was a great venue, too. Been to a lot of shows in my days, and this was a special one.

The show was great love the Breeders. The bar tenders on the floor were awesome. The bartender inside the Observatory was aweful. Asked for a dirty martini he tok the condiment tray and dumped in my drink. There were no toothpicks for the olives. How unsanitary. Obviously I refused to drink it. I asked for a dirty martini not a disputing filthy martini

Awesome show at The Wiltern! Sound was fantastic, and the band were on point!!

Such a great performance by leading women of rock! The bands were on fire ?? and played to a sold out crowd that roared for more especially when in encore the two bands combined to play onstage. The Breeders played the full album of The Last Splash and then went on to encores. The energy was palpable. The Wiltern is a great place to see a show. Clean, lots of staff, lots of bars and places to hang out. Will definitely return. And centrally located unlike many venues in LA.
