Tainted Love Tickets

From start to finish, these guys and gals of Tainted Love were great. They packed two hours full of nostalgic hit after hit. Any fan of the 80's would find it impossible not to be moving and grooving, jumping and singing along. A night out that was worth every penny!

Tainted Love is my favorite band of all time! I have probably seen them 30 times over the past 16 year! Highly recommend as they always sound JUST like the original versions of the 80’s hits! I love specifically that they never try to mix it up with different versions of the songs as it allows the audience to sing along with them :) This most recent show in Sacramento, however, I wished they played more of their old 80’s pop classic hits because some of their songs this time seemed like they were from the B side of the cassette tapes where I just barely recognized the song even though I knew the artist. Also I was not a fan of the instrumental Metallica section that took place while several of the other group members took a break ?? It was uncomfortably loud and I much prefer their singing of pop/new wave songs to heavy metal instrumental noise?? I was also bummed they didn’t play Tainted Love (which seemed ironic) or Take on Me (my all time favorite 80’s song) and wish they would play more songs in the Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode genre in the future.

I’ve seen Tainted Love five times and this was their best yet! They ALWAYS put on a great show. We are already looking to see when they’re coming around next.

First time at Ace of Spades. Nice venue. My only real complaint was that we weren't allowed inside until almost show time. We had to wait in the sun and 100 degree heat until they were ready to let us in. It is mostly general standing room only space, so you kind of want to get there a bit earlier to get a good spot. Letting people in 30 minutes before the show seems like something that is doable and maybe expected for a first come first served type of venue.

The band is soooo good and they give their best when they’re on stage. Love seeing all of them perform. We were all the in the front and sometimes when the female would sing all of ears would hurt so bad. Her voice is hight pitched. Other than that what a show! WOW Jude Crossen’s voice was amazing

James Durbin played with tainted love, and he was unbelievable. I would highly recommend going to a tainted love concert, especially if Durbin is playing.

Way too crowded. One bartender at each bar. Stood in line for over 30 minutes for a drink. The “band” was lip synching. I have seen tainted Love several times and have always enjoyed them. This time, they chose the most boring songs - not dancing songs and were lip synching. Boring! We left early!

This is the 6th time I've seen them and they just keep getting better and better.

The band hit the stage and never stopped belting out the classic hits. The setlist was all high energy and danceable. The alternation of lead singers (two guys & one girl) really kept the music coming. Fun time. the venue was large enough to comfortably hold the crowd with a good dancing area. Bar lines were a little long but the bartender was doing a great job really hustling out the drinks.

Ive seen tainted love several times, but this was the best venue and show I have ever seen them at. So much fun!
