SUFFOCATION IN CONCERT:
Death metal warriors Suffocation are masters of decibel-shattering aural destruction, and they're known for pushing the extreme at their bone-crushing live shows. The sonic maelstrom they bring to the stage is a force of nature, wreaking havoc on everything in its path with guttural screams, bludgeoning guitars, and breakneck tempos. This is grindcore metal at its best, and fans looking for a satisfyingly brutal concert experience are in for a treat. Whether Suffocation is "Infecting the Crypts" or delivering "Mass Obliteration", ticket buyers can expect to be thoroughly pummeled at the band's jaw-dropping live shows.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Suffocation was formed in Long Island, NY in 1988 by vocalist Frank Mullen and several other musicians who shared a love for classic metal acts like Napalm Death and Sepultura. Taking those iconic groups as a starting point, the band quickly added their own stamp to the metal diaspora, developing an incredibly heavy sound known for its sonic intensity. Their 1991 debut album Effigy of the Forgotten was a watershed moment in the rise of extreme metal, earning them considerable acclaim and a legion of devoted followers. The band released two more albums in the '90s, supporting each with global touring before breaking up in 1998. They reunited to much fanfare in 2003, releasing 2004's Souls to Deny LP to a Top 40 spot on the US Independent charts before once again hitting the road on tour. Since then they've become the poster band for extreme metal, continuing to grow their fanbase with each new album. In 2013 Suffocation landed at No. 2 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart with their seventh album Pinnacle of Bedlam, and they continue to floor fans with their technical chops, intensity, and sheer volume on tour.

One of the best shows I`ve seen! Suffocation was Great, Exhumed was awesome(first time seeing them) but Jungle Rot in my opinion stole the show!! they were tight and sounded amazing!!
A little small, yet the music was amazing. Got lucky and got to see the Cali blood tour too. Got the bruises to prove I went.
