About
Stranger Things: The First Shadow brings audiences into the world of Hawkins, Indiana in a thrilling new play by Kate Trefry. Based on an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne and Trefy, the stage production serves as a prequel to the events of Netflix’s Stranger Things. In 1959, Jim Hopper, Bob Newby and Joyce Maldonado are teenagers in Hawkins with small-town, everyday worries. But when a mysterious new student named Henry Creel moves to town, he brings a darkness with him that promises to turn the teens’ world upside down. A two-time Laurence Olivier Award winner following a hit run on London’s West End, Stranger Things: The First Shadow is set to open on Broadway in March 2025.

Getting there
The Marquis Theatre is located at 210 W 46th St, on the third floor of the New York Marriott Marquis hotel in New York City. There is no designated on-site parking. However, there are numerous parking options throughout the Broadway Theater district. Click here for a Google Maps display of the various parking options around Times Square. Taxis and other car services can also stop outside the theater for drop-off and pick-up.
The Marquis Theatre is accessible via the A, C and E trains at the 42nd St–Port Authority Bus Terminal station; the 1, 2 and 3 trains at the Times Sq–42nd St station and the N, Q R and W trains at the 49th St station.
